Bertos is a different player, or rather is playing differently, to any other time in the season.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Lino should put his glasses on. That was not offside. Mysky never lies.

Agree. He is dropping deeper (so is Ifill and Stein) but he has dragged the Heart defenders all over the place and created the gaps. He has done more work off the ball than our whole team has done all year.

Brockie. Low cross in from Ifill and finished. We are playing well (in comparison to any other time this year)

Actually agreeing with deJong. We're not, for the most part, just hoofing aimless balls into the box but actually trying to make chances. Good to see.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Next season I would like Dewhurst and De Jong gone....

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

At the risk of being Debbie Downer, I'm not looking forward to the second half, for one reason and one reason only - our passes are hitting their target at about 70%, whereas for the Heart it's more like 90. The last time I saw something like this was against WSW. I am picking Heart to be much tougher in this half. If I were a betting woman, which I ain't, I'd be putting a sneaky tenner on a draw.

Really decent half of football. Good width by the wide players has created a lot of space for them and the strikers

We are looking like a football side. There are a number possibilities to this but not limited to

1: The kids are on the bench. Stein has a boat load of experience. Could this be the difference?

2: Bertos is in the midfield and looking like a Bertos with a point to make. Could this be the difference?

3: We have stopped the stupid mile high crosses. Could this be the the difference?

4: Sigmund has not left the line. Could this be the difference?

5: The real Paul Ifill looks like he might be standing up out of his walking frame. Could this be the difference?

6: The CBs have cleared their lines (mostly). Could this be the difference?

7: Everyone is getting around the park and getting back. Could this be the difference?

8: Gameiro is all over the place dragging defenders which creates gaps. Could this be the difference?

9: Chris Greenacre has made a difference. Could this be the difference?

I have to say, this is all positive. We have created chances and we look like a different team. Its actually enjoyable to watch the lads turn up and play. Well done.

best we've seen from the nix in a long time, they wanted to be there, played for each other and actually made the Heart keeper work hard to keep it to one. Could have been 3-0 if the woodwork hadn't screwed us.

You really are a miserable person. We are dominating the game thus far. Why don't you enjoy it instead of wanting the status quo where we get our asses handed to us.

Edit: I reserve the right to say that my sarcasm radar may be broken. If so. I sincerely apologise.

Have not enjoyed watching  the Nix that much for a long time.

Good on Greenie for starting Stein and also seeing the obvious that Bertos is more effective further up the pitch and Muscat is doing another good job at RB. Should really be 3/4 up so hope they keep this up as Melbourne H will punish us if we give them a chance.

I guess sarcasm goes way over your head jeff. this was a huge improvement on the last 3 months despite some people comments after wednesdays game that things were even worse than under that other coach

All of the above. That was the first 45 minutes I've enjoyed watching from us for a very very long time

A lot of their passing is being done in their own half - they have hardly offered any threat at all. I have just chucked a couple of quid on us with a -1 handicap

yep I agree,  the players look up for it, folk like Leo and Lochy actually playing some football. I hope we don't get the usual 2nd half slump.
