Kent Johns on radio sport this morning said that the yellow fever boo'd the nix off the park at half time last night. I was there but was getting food/drinks at half time. I'm almost sure this wouldn't have happened, more likely booing Newcastle or the refs if anything but can someone confirm?

A select few people booed,  no idea what they were booing at though. They were quickly drowned out by applause and a 'cmon Phoenix' from the rest of the zone

Just some Random impertinent questions.

1) Is Moss any better than Paston. Probably, yes. Although I don't think there's that much between them. Both have strengths and weaknesses

2)What has happened to the pace Leo used to have. He's been getting progressively slower over the past few seasons

3)Has Leo completely lost the ability to cross a ball. Lost it? Haven't seen it for a long time.

4)Why does Dura even bother coming forward for a corner, putting aside our shit delivery I can only think of about three times in four years he has actually got his melon anywhere near a corner. Probably agree, but I can recall him popping up at the back post several times from free kicks or in open play and getting headers in.

5)Did Siggy win a header against Heskey last night. Not that I saw

6)Does Lochhead have another A League season in him? His form seems to be returning and again was one of our better players last night (certainly defensively) Probably.

7)Have opposition teams worked out Leo as a fullback. His early season progress seems to have stalled. Opposition teams have worked US out. Leo started fairly well at FB, but his form has dipped, and the fact that he has no midfield in fromt of him hasn't helped. Trying to bomb on up the wing and leaving the FB position uncovered when we lose possession hasnt helped either

8)How many times did Lia give the ball away. I love the guys effort, but sorry Vinny just gave the ball away too many times. 3. I only saw him on the ball about 3 times!

9)What as happened to the real Manny Muscat. The bloke wearing the number 2 shirt is a pale shadow of his former self. He's been sucked into the black hole that our midfield has become.

10) Is Louis Fenton up to A league standard at the moment. He has huge potential but drifts in and out of games and gets knocked off the ball to easily. Not convinced yet

11) Is Tyler Boyd really upto A league standard? Will he ever be?  Not convinced yet

12)Is this the last year we will see Ifill playing? He is so frustrated with his own form at the moment, I would not be surprised if he pulled the pin. Hope not. Even though he's been a shadow of his former self this season, he's still been at the heart of most of the good things we've done. A break and a good pre-season will hopefully freshen him up and we'll get our money's worth next year. May also have to alter his role on the park to try and get the best out of him

13)Is Corey Gameiro actually Pav in disguise? Would we spend a chunk of cash to keep him at the club? Nope. Much better than Pav. Great attitude and looks a better player by a mile. Can't see him staying at the club, but I'd be happy if we could keep him

14)How do we get more out of Brockie? Some terrific goals and our season would be really bad without them but we need some creativity and assists out of him as well. Not sure. He's been the same at every club he's been at

15) Does Danny Sanchez have his ticket out of Wellington already booked? Hope so. The fact that he played trials at Partick Thistle and we didn't want him shows me just how good he is!

16)Will Stein and King Carlos be a good combo. Hopefully. I think Stein looks like he can play, I think he just hasn't had the opportunity and hasn't been used prooperly

17) Did anyone seriously expect a significant change in how we have been playing. No. Greenie only had a day to work with them befre last night's game. Not expecting any major changes for the rest of the season

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

but better than being thrashed at home by sydney surely? Or are the ricki fans just going to forget how low this team had sunk sometime back to get their point across? Last home game against jets was 1-1 so just a continuation of the decline from the first encounter when we scored 3 goals. To be fair theres not alot between adelaide whos top 4 position flatters them and newcastle.

Not here. Not Lochy's biggest fan, but he's not noticeably worse than most of the team - I'm firmly into the SACK WELNIX (OR AT LEAST GIVE GARETH A KICK UP THE ARSE) camp now.

another quiet and long drive home last night,

finally got the last signature on my tim brown shirt, has taken me since pre season game in palmy to get them all, so one positive for me from the evening. even thow it has been a below par season will still get the shirt framed and put it on the wall with the rest.

I'm serious. I never took Welnix seriously as owners in the first place and I don't now. We knew the club needed new owners when the old one was going broke - the new ones have plenty of money but nary a clue.

As to who will finance the club? How silly! We'll conduct a worldwide search for new owners. Don't remember you asking the SACK RICKI brigade whom they wanted for a new coach.

can't blame locky as an individual, as a whole though our defense was woeful yesterday, both goals came from poor man marking, which neither Leo or Locky were responsible for. Blam efirmly lies with the whole team for not really appearing to care,

Queenslander 3x a year.

You would think by now Bertos/Lochead would take on more of a leader role and show how its done! They must be some of the most capped players in the history of the A-league...

It wasn't. But that won't stop the flow of bad arguments. SEE WE SHOULD HAVE KEPT RICKI!!!!

Although, I would have preferred that he stayed until the end of the season. How is Greenacre gonna transform the team in no time? he isn't.

Apart from Brockies goal, did we have a shot on target or was Leos powder puff header our next best attempt ?

I'm struggling to remember the last time we created a good goal. And the last time Ifill was involved in anything. Bit sad, really..

Ifill put a couple of decent balls into the box last night. One in particular across the 6 yard box that Brockie didn't get on the end of.

From what my memory can drag up, he was also only robbed of scoring a screamer on Sunday by some great goalkeeping.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

that sums up most weeks these days.25 goals in 23 games for 5 wins says as much. Last night wasnt an improvement but was certainly no worse than alot of other performances.
