I like Scoobys team, only would start Leo and have Greenie on the bench, with Ifill in the centre.
Tegal stop confusing the poor lads. So Dura's yellow was a Culina dive...grrr...didn't watch the second half....hate Culina...

Looking forward to this free game, should be a good turn out.
This is the key of course. We always play better in front of a big crowd I reckon. I am taking 10+ Grandadi-ites (six of them are virgins, but I promise no sacrifices on the terraces) to this game. Can everyone try to do the same? Please?
If it's a free game, what happens to us with season passes?
Remember;
We can beat anyone.
We are the Phoenix.
Ahem............prediction anyone?

Nostalgia isnt what it used to be...........

Nobody else can make the predictions but you Grandadi!
You must make the prophecy for the match.

It's not free and I can easily see some brainless knob reading this then showing up to the ground without his wallet, being turned back at the gate, and venting at YF in a blind fury afterwards.
Bertos must not start. And Ricki has to tell him how poor he is to stop him coasting along.

Ok yeah before this gets way out of hand. I'm being a sh*te,it's not free.

We need Bertos on the pitch. We have only him, Ifill and Rojas who can confidently run at and beat players. Everyone else just arses around trying to be too constructive and methodical, passing it back to North for him to hoof aimlessly up field.

No good beating players if you can't cross the ball in though. At least Daniel can deliver a decent ball in (as long as its not from a set piece!)

Losing Ward to injury is a big loss especially as he had played some good games lately and with Muscat, Lia and Brown in the midfield , he was the only one that looked creative (apart from the odd surge forward by Manny).

Its a collective issue. And anyway Leos one of these players who hasnt had a break from football since the break between 08-09/09-10. Yeah I know hes a professional footballer blah blah but even the greatest players need time out.

Hearfield Siggy North Musa
Muscat
Brown Daniel
Ifill
Greenacre Big Mac
Bench: Rojas, Lia, Bertos
* Ifill as an attacking midfileder, more to give him freedom to move about, and work with the attacking pair.
* Greenie working off Big Mac (or Pav even), well, i just believe we looked like we had more attacking intent with those two working up front. Also works well when we revert to our "were not at all a long ball playing team but lets play the long ball over and over again" strategy.

This! I swap Brown and Ifil around though. Oh and Leo in for Daniel. Don't tell about that one decent cross the other night, why do you think we had no one up for our corners. No faith in daniel right now.

I like this, Ifill pretty much does what ever he wants anyway so just let him have free reign in the midfield. Im not sure on the other midfielder, Lia looks stale and Daniel just isn't playing well enough. Musa needs to be given a shot, our biggest problem over the years is that we haven't given the young fulluz enough game time (look at Kosta) just give him a few games to try cut it.
Marco probably deserves a start but i don't think he is at full fitness yet, maybe wait until the new year. Pretty light defensively on the bench, but i guess muscat and maybe Lia could cover fullbacks if required.
And Bertos needs to earn his spot back

We need a bit of luck and perhaps a bout of food poisoning go through the Newcastle team, just saying is all.But the luck thing definitely, the ball to fall our way, get the 50 - 50's, rub of the green, ball in the back of the net etc etc
