Leggy, waht are you babbling about? Ifill's set up a bazillion chances and Fenton, Boyd, Gameiro et al are too useless to slot them.

In the first half he was well below par.

Yeah I think we deserved the 3 there today. Finishing in front of goal was the killer but that was a marked improvement on the last.... 2-3 months?

We were lucky not to be 3 down at half time. They played us off the park in the first 20 mins, and down to 10 players in the second half, we should have won easily. A draw was about right.

Probably one of the worst games this season, but I'll take the result considering we were outclassed for 50 minutes.

Much better in the second half. Was getting sick of watching long ball after long ball in the first.

Wow... Have you forgotten how bad the majority of our games have been this season? This gave was shitloads better than at least half of our games so far.

The first half the 2 reds supporters made more noise than the YF. I could hear the cruise ship for Christ sakes. The engine wasn't even running.... Yea. Exciting game of football.... The only reason you think so is because we scored 2 goals. Bring on next season please.

Apart from a couple of crosses, he wasnt very good in the first half. But he certainly had a much better second half.

Draw was about right but it was very frustrating watching us waste chance after chance after chance due to appalling final balls.  How many times did Ifill or someone else get to the byline only to hit the first defender with the cross??  Why do we never try a cut back to the penalty spot or something different?  We'd then waste the resulting corner (as per usual) and the chance would be gone.

Delivery of the ball, and players on the receiving end of it not moving from a standing position are the 2 main issues for me.  The crosses are constantly chipped in with no purpose to them.  Adelaide defence were mopping up the high balls time after time but we kept persisting with it anyway which was annoying.

Subs should've been made earlier as well, possibly even before the red card.

Overall, we probably should have won it in the end but a total lack of composure ultimately cost us.

Still, due to missing the Heart and WSW games, I have not seen a home win since round 1!  Poor stuff indeed.

He was not at his best, especially in the first half. However there are some on here that just will not admit it when players are not playing well. Just can't see the wood for the trees.

He was well involved, however his final product was dire 90% of the time - i.e. constantly hitting defenders with crosses, or trying to beat his man, but not!

One thing that annoyed me about Brockie was he could have passed the ball to Stein and instead he was greedy and lost it. Yet he was the one who made a big deal about Totori doing a similar thing to him earlier in the season.

Ifill sort of played himself back into half decent form just through sheer bloody hard work. Big tick from me.

His battle with Malik was entertaining too. Neither backed down and in the end honours were about even.

Really enjoyed that game.....had low expectations but we were not shiite.

Sometimes when you are down and out you need a bit of luck. Brockies goal was a gift from heaven and the red card helped us big time as Adelaide played deeper and had one guy less pressing. Allowed us more space to buildup and Ifill got into the game and started to do some creative stuff. Last 20 mins was exciting...crowd got into it and we crashed a few shots on goal. How did Brockie cock up that 3 on 2 late in the game?

Adelaide have some high quality players, especially in midfield. Start of the second half they held possession for about five minutes with lovely one touch passing. There two goals were top quality. Considering they have been absolute crap away from home this year they would be happy to leave with a point....and they could have got all three.

Our guys huffed and puffed and got lots of balls into the box. Good to see them not fade away in the second half. Gamiero looks like a real striker....good goal and one glorious near post run in the first half. Ifill got better and better as the match wore on and he was given more space. We need more punch from our wide defenders. Leo was good but could not get quality ball in and Locky is just too slow now. If we play like this on Wednesday we could beat the Jets

.

The most important thing about today was that the entertainment was back.

Those boo's were aimed at the ref, who was entering the tunnel at the same time as the interview

True, but I think the red card had a lot to do with it. It changed everything.

I disagree. For at least 10-15 minutes before the send off we had been hard on attack and had most of the possession. Even then there were signs Adelaide were looking to hang on. Yes, the red card did us a favour but it wasn't the deciding factor by any means.

After being charged $30 to park, it doesnt seem they want to encourage people to attend. The bloody car parks empty for goodness sake.

Park on the opposite side, around the Telstra (I think) building. Free.

Not to mention that 4 x 330ml plastic bottles of Tui are also now $30.  Absolute and utter rip off.

You are correct on parking (not that I need to park a car).  Fair enough if it was a sold out event and parking spaces were at a premium, but that's hardly the case here.  More than the ticket for the match FFS!

I park in Stout street for free or Tournament for $3.  On game..how can 5 strikers not manage a winning goal against 10 men.
Sad to see Brockie playing for himself too much.  had to applaud their second..great stike and their passing was crisp and clear..what we lack.  Need to sign more players with .ic at end of name.  The big cleanout cant come quick enough...
