Needs an "on his way to MVFC" option.

So he (alongside Mini Judas) can learn from one the greatest players in world. It would be a fantastic opportunity.

Sadly won't happen unless his dad says so.

A good find. Top notch. Class act. And to those who brought him here:

Paul/masterclass was on Foxsports FC last night.  Some Ozzie dude really needs to upload it to Youtube - quickly - otherwise we all might explode.

Really, more expensive attacking players?
This year spend all you money poaching defenders and and decent midfielders.

No disrespect to Paul, but surely this has to be Archie Thomson??? Tards only plan seems to be to kick it for him to run onto. I would guess that he features in a much higher percentage of his teams chances than any other striker in the league.

^You could substitute Archie for Ifill and tards for Nix and it would be equally as true

If only that poll on the a-league website was most vital player to a club.. *cough* Broich *cough*

Well, it's better to have apparently "one" master class player than a bunch of mediocre players (Victree)Azevo2012-02-10 12:00:32

I see Miron has been expressing his love for Ifill today:

"Golgol Mebrahtu had a chance in the first half, he was one-on-one with the keeper," he said.

"Can you imagine if I had Paul Ifill or Besart Berisha (in that situation)? We would have won the game 3-1 or 3-2.

"Do I have Ifill? No, I have Golgol Mebrahtu. That's the price. But next year, he will probably score more."

haha what a way to tell a player he's sh*t !

Paul Ifill has been sending a stream of negative tweets recently. Lots of stuff about people lying, being hypocrites etc

I'm worried about him.

You mean Ricki Herbert isn't actually a fat goose?

Yeah maybe, but Ifill's been persistently sending similar sorts of tweets for 2 or 3 weeks at least - very very emo. Combined with his current on field demeanour it's clear that all is not well.

Also tweeted a couple of tattoo fail pics. Perhaps someone was goona get the same tattoo as him and chickened out.

Occasionally I click on twitter feeds, I don't have much experience with it, but that stream just looks like a big mess to me, I can't easily find the tweets you're referring to - any tips?

You have to wonder what has caused this. Perhaps there has been a shot across his bow from Ricki that he doesn't like?

If anything, it can certainly be argued that the performance of Ifill is dropping off and while he is a quality footballer, is one of those guys that can't play their way back into shape. At the moment, he's got a waddle and that needs to go if we have a chance of seeing the Ifill of old (and if he is annoyed, why doesn't he prove them wrong)

Yeah, I'd noticed it too (general emo-ness). Very hard from the outside to judge what it's about though (owners, coach, team, life in general) so decided not to bother. Other than that he's not a particularly happy camper at the mo.

He tweeted recently that the family are very happy in NZ, so I wouldn't be panicking too much. He also tweeted the other day that confidence (either his or the team's) is lower than a snake's belly. He's obviously unhappy with his form at present.

Reading tweets from various Nix related sources over the past few weeks, it becomes obvious that there are things happening off the park which are deifinitely affecting our performances on it.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

QFT Jag

Its obvious but they have done a fairly decent job of keeping the reasons under wraps and largely out of mainstream media (i.e. its not getting that much headlines as a reason) and I say that because we are all speculating and no one really has anything firm.

I hope Ifill decides to stay in NZ ala Steve Price. Perhaps contribute to football in NZ in some manner.
