We can look at any game and take negatives or positives from any players performance. I thought he did some good things today. Yes he did some less than good things also but ffs give the bloke some credit. He has admitted he has not been playing well. He is continuing to try thinggs on the park and I feel all he needs is some luck to help change things. He is probably as fit as he has been for a couple of seasons now although he was carrying a knock or strain of some sort as he underwent a very late fitness test today

That shot he had on target looked like the Ifill of old and is probably the first real shot he has fired in anger in a long time. I remember screaming at him to lay it off but he took the extra step and I realised that he knew exactly what he was doing and it deserved a goal. Good keeping on that too.

I just hope that he isn't feeling frustrated that he couldn't find the final ball/shot, but instead confident in what he is doing and ready to keep trying on Wednesday.

Tweeted him that he needs to hit the sponsors up for a new pair of boots, because I don't think those ones are working properly. At points his control looked very Totori like. I would have taken him off for Waffles, but near the end he started looking more confident and started playing better.

Was our grass particularly unsticky today?  Lots of players falling over...

^this (Ryans post)

At times he tripped over his own feet when he had the ball but I got a sense of a player that looked like he was playing his way back into some kind of form (comparitive to what he has done in the last month)

The reality is, that he is an aging footballer that is not really fit. We have probably seen the best of him but if we could just get him 6-7 kgs lighter and squeeze that last season out of him, it will probably be better than this one.

Wtf ?

I thought Tegal was joking ? Ifill missed at least two sitters ? I still think he is below his best, but a lot better than previous weeks. I wouldn't say really good.

Apologies to Tegal. No offence intended, mate.

Dude stop being a troll. Its been a deliberate act for the last month and as equally boring for about that some time. Tegals been around a while and its quite obvious when he is being sarky.

However having the sarky emoticon would remove all doubt.

WTF is that you are an annoying negative prick. People are sick to frigging death of your constant negativity. You are a troll that the forums would be better off without. In my opinion of course.

QFT. If he could back it up with a reasons then he might be able to have a point to discuss but that rarely happens.

This wouldn't be necessary if there was an ignore button.
Just saying, in my opinion.

While he should have scored a couple, it was good to see him take people on and beat people. Haven't see enough of that this season.

Uups, this should be in another category.

I really like Stein, good assist at the second goal. I think his quick passing and running into free spaces is to fast for most of nix players. Hope they keep him for next season for the more modern playing style.

about time he started palying well again it's taken almost a whole season but i think it might be too late. How long is he contracted for ? another season mabye?

Took half the game to warm up to that tho and even then he was still trying to do too much..not the only one tho committing that sin.
