The croud for the legends game was probably 100 hardy souls, who all then ended up in the grandstand covered.

Good effort, we were well and truly moist before abandoning the Yellow Fever End, took the whole 2 or so hours in the pub to dry out properly...

Dadi, Ifill, Greenacre, Brown, Daniel, Coveny, Moss.

Greenie (YFever), Two competition winners.

And I am missing one of the starting XI...Someone help me out :D

Also Coach Durante stayed in the "tunnel" as it was a bit wet :P

Doesn't he work for Adelaide now?

Can anyone confirm if Jimmy Downey was at the Hutt Rec?  I'm pretty sure I saw him in the Grand stand whilst it was pelting down but friends I was with weren't sure.

Feel for the guy that paid all that money to play and had it rained off. Hope he feels like he got his monies worth by hanging out with the players etc

Wonder if the club will look at doing this again in future seasons?

Maybe they could play it next home game.

No Dodd, No O'Dor = No comedy factor for defensive mis ups. If I remember correctly Plodder was involved in one with the other two that was classic Keystone Cops.

Not really practical is it, given the expense and time involved in those people who came back from overseas for it?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

They may still offer him something next home game. Let him do the cross bar challenge, break some childrens necks in bubble soccer, or he can be the designated water boy for a week. They would all be pretty cool things to do

The nominated scapegoat was completely satisfied by the experience, to play along side players he had played with and against in a younger era. Blew jnr
