Anyone thought of asking Daniel what he meant by that? Whether we should bother buying season tickets? Whether he's told Pantelis and Downey?

The simple fact is some teams are about to play games against Yuropean opponents - we have 14 players and one coach only.

It's not the end of the line - yet, but things are fairly grim.

Is the light at the end of Terry's tunnel a freight train racing towards him?

HHHHHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmm did not know that have not been following the day to day stuff that closely ..Speculating only ... and no more ... idle talk that happens in times of uncertainty ...

FFA have said they want a 10 team comp for the next few years... Everybody says we need a Western Sydney team [Australia's heartland of football with six former NSL teams, 2 mega state league teams and five associations] Asian heavies want NZ out... Frank has lost his some of his power in Australian football since the lost WC Bid...

What single event would solve all those issues and not force Frank into a stand and fight for NZ again...

SOrry Midfielder, that's tripe.  1, if they had a West Sydney team ready to go they would already be in the league, 2, if Fury hadn't folded we would still have an 11 team league, 3, last time I checked Frank Lowy is still chairman of FFA and isn't going sanywhere, standing for a new term and 4, we've had Lyal Gorman back and forth to wellington solving problems.  None of those suggests the either the FFA wants NZ out or that we're going to be thrown out.

Agreed, it's tripe Midfielder.

You have to look that without a NZ team, the A-League rights in NZ are worthless to Sky NZ, and that combined FOXtel/Sky payment is a big part of the overall a-league model.

I hope and believe you are right ... as I said if you read the start of the post ...

Also agree with the broadcast deal.... however the WS market is mega massive and has been totally F...UP by FFA to date and there is heaps of pressure to get a team in A-League..

Yeah, all that means is that he's been reminded of the club's media policy. But on the other hand, if there was some disaster in the air, I think Jade North would have had more of a reaction to it. (Perhaps something like "HAHAHAHAHA screw you Ricki, that'll teach you to not re-sign me".)

Any less than seven exclamation marks from Daniel and I would have been more concerned. Eight would have been great, but seven is fine.

I fear. On travels, New Zealand dollar worth not much compared to dollar Aussie. I buy Ausse dollar, but I get dollers of Kiwi, many. I wonder what New Zealand television' operator pay for TV publising rights. What is figure, it is lots. New Zealand beautiful, land of geological delight and difference. But dollar not strong. TV publisher must pay muchos dllars to Australia to justify team in Australian football. New Zealand only, se dira 4 million persons? Rugby and sailing is popular? Football not number one in New Zeeland. I wonder size of TV publishers, is value grand?
