I am picking 4 years with rediculously impossible metrics that have a further 4 years tied to them. Just remember, this is the FFA we are dealing with.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Oh, definitely. We will basically have to hope for a change of guard at the FFA that is more reasonable (ahahah) after those 4 years are up,.

And that point really is quite an important one. The FFA, like the NZF, really do need a complete overhaul. Things are falling apart for some personal agendas and lack of vision. The A League, itself, needs to be run by its own organisation whilst the FFA take care of business with the International teams and  various state football authorities.

so 4-3-3.....

Permalink Permalink

It's a 4-3-3 deal with a focus on growth in crowds and the value of comercial rights from TV in NZ as the conditions that the Phoenix need to meet.

The Phoenix said that they think that the metrics targets are very acheivable, and if they meet them the extensions are automatically triggered.

Doesn't seem like they are taking more games on the road but are focussing on growing the brand nationally.

Lets hope the FFA don't move the goalposts again in 4 years.

We want 7

As fans, we now need to get in behind the club so to speak, keep on encouraging others to attend. The Nix need to get in some quality players especially as a few of ours are nearing their retiring date. Full steam ahead! STARTING NEXT FRIDAY night!

No news about TV deal. Just some blurry notes about new media players in the market by technology changes.

No new signings, Ernie bounces question, mentions young players but want to sign new exciting players.

No mentioned of NZF, fail.
