All approved no issue with sponsorship just their MD sigining the press release. Will be issued tomorrow.
I approved the text but their MD got caught up with some other stuff. Still great news for the Club.

its a cool idea, but I couldn't see kiwibank being big enough to afford it, and some customers wouldn't like their investment money being spent of a football team.

its a cool idea, but I couldn't see kiwibank being big enough to afford it, and some customers wouldn't like their investment money being spent of a football team.
Kiwibank would have the money I think, would be more a political issue as to whether a subsidiary of an SOE should be sponsoring a football team.
Personally, even though I think the Government has no business owning a bank, it is here whether you like it or not and there should be no constraints on how it operates that a normal business wouldn't have. Therefore why shouldn't Kiwibank sponsor the Nix if they can whip up a decent business case?
