If i can keep faith with the Knights i can keep faith with the Nix. If only Noah Hickey never went.

Why is everyone so keen to  throw an 18 year old with 1a league appearance in at the deep end?
I though t when dodd came on he was an improvement from johnson, one of the few players with "intensity" tonight.

To be positive:

We were lucky it wasn't 12-0
Daniel was great once on
The ball boys were very sharp tonight
Mulligan took a free kick and it actually never hit the wall

After watching that game I'd have to say either the whole team has the flu,
or something is going on behind the scenes that has everyone off their game.
The Phoenix played tonight like they have worries on their minds other than football...not just one or some of them,...ALL of them.
What's going on Phoenix???

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Weegunner - while we need to be scoring goals - its in defence, poor passing and keeping the ball thats killing us...but hey Costa and Drapers might be able to inject some enthusiasm...

True true. I must say though - I thought RH may have done enough  with his signings to plug the dyke that is the Phoenix defence.

Its good to see Durante not making excuses, pPerhaps the week off will give them some time too sort out their heads and pull themselves together. Not writting them off yet

On the plus side when ever Dainel comes on the intensity seems to go up, I thought he put in a good effort for the time he was on, not sure why he didn't play the whole game.

It could just be the sh*t weather we have had carring over into their game, I know its affected me ...I performed 3 operations this week and I've removed the wrong leg 2 times and what I thought was a leg once( at least the guys wife now has someone to go shopping for dresses with)

I was disgusted by the lack of effort in the 1st half. We let them have the ball to freely and when ever we got it we f**ked up a pass and gave it straight back. Our midfield was to blame for the first goal. We sent a lovley ball to Adelaide which left our defence wide open.
Ok we came out a little better second half but still a massive what the f**k???
Gao is a twat, the defence is still ugly. What has happened to the passing evident in the PSC games.

I think RH is too much of a nice guy. He should be at the edge of the technical area screaming at the players and teling them to wake the f**k up and start playing in a way that shows that they actually give a damn about all the effort Terry has put in and the bloody good fan base we have. The Adelaide crowd was poor.

Bertos played alright, still a wing player in my books.

We are a long way off top 4. Unless we win a game soon there is no way I'll be fronting up with the hundreds of dollars I planned on spending to go to games over the summer.

It was an appaling effort. There are no excuses.

RH has to motivate this team to actually want to succeed. They need some drive and passion.
There is no such thing as a one man team, we should be able to score goals without Smeltz.

Mully was ave but first start so not too bad. Mckain is ave. Get Dodd back in the back 4.

Having Costa start might actually bring some enthusiasm into the team and motivation.

Im extremely disgruntled.

100% agreed. THey're never actually in midfield they're either up front or at the back, which is why kwassie looked so isolated and why they ran amok on the coutner attack.
Can't see why people want to put Paston in. Moss was the reason it wasn;t 5-0

I really hope there is a huge row right now in the dressing room. That was not a performance befitting professional sportsmen, and Ricki Herbert's idea of tactics and use of his player resourses was not that befitting a professional coach.
There have to be wholesale changes, in personnel, tactics and mindset. Other wise Terry Serepisos will surely be asking the tough questions. I would if it was my money at stake.

[QUOTE=GenericFan]so who'll get dropped next game?

i'm thinking johnson and mulligan out
daniel sigmund and smeltz back in

Personally i thought mulligan was one of our better players tonight. Most of their (succesful) attacks came down there right so if any (and if we had a half decent back up) id drop lochhead.
[/QUOTE

I'd watch the replay again - when they played down their left they had lots of space, when they crossed from their right we had no one at right back all too often. But then the whole team was so disorganised you could probably point the finger at everyone.

Daniel was better this week though.

No point in making too many changes, the team has to gel and if you change it too much they won't.

Still cant get over how disinterested they seemed to be.I can take  a loss at times if the team is putting the effort in,but that was just disgraceful.Same old problems sh*t defence,sh*t passing,sh*t crossing.Silly me and here was I thinking that with a proper build up this season we might start to see some better football. But seems we may have got that pre season and the last couple of weeks are what we have to look forward to.

But buggar it i will still be there they aint going to get off that easy.

i was going to come on and moan - but you lot have done it for me

and with more venom than i can muster

(good on durante for not spouting cliches)

as someone said the Mariners game becomes pretty crucial for the club's season

that was a pretty grim experience

I thought Mulligan got caught out on the right side too often myself or perhaps the midfield did not communicate with him to let him know who was making the runs

LOL The only comfort is their fans are completely rubbish!!!!~

If you want to see fans come to Wellington!!!

I was amazed at the seemingly lack of any idea about tactics. Fitness seemed weird. Lochy a mess. That was the worst I've seen.

Our "goal scorers" - aweful. FFS get fellipe back .

Still our fans piss on theirs so thats cool

Fox commentators said 9 of our players are involved in WC qualifying, while Adelaide are going paintballing

Not a striker thats for sure
