Young Rojas to me isn't a starter, just doen't seem fit enough to me and seemed to go missing after a bright patch. The prob is he is our most potent

Rojas got injured after that challenge which should've been a penalty. He looked like he was just about crying by the time he came off.

to me he just looked tired, the challange was awkward, but didn't think he got injured from it

Yeah well he did plenty of running when he was on and also in the last game. Appearantly he was kicked though when he was still on the ground??

After watching that replay you will see the "veteran" Zwaanswijk not only pulls Rojas back by the shirt ..tumbling  him over, but the swine follows through with his knee to the side of Marco's head!!
Hobbled him, pure and simple....Veteran eh? Veteran of the Wrong Muscat School of Tardish Football Thuggery, most likely.
That doubtful mob's chief instructor got his marching orders in the game prior, deservedly so too.
Shame the 4 officials at Bluetongue last night didn't recognise  similar behavior and deal with it accordingly.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Yes, Zwaansveik (how ever you spell it). But is that the reason? That was very dirty from Zwaansveik, cant believe he got away with it.

Like Marco  some of you need to harden up,if thats the worst he gets during his career he will be doing lucky.
Had it been Dura who had done that and he failed to make  a play for the ball(which is what he did even tho many seem to have missed it)  you lot would all be screaming for his head.
There is a heap of very blinkered posting that has gone on all season.

The FACT is no matter what anybody says we have been mostly poor all season apart  from a couple of good recent results against weakened teams.

Troy quite often goes more central to mark the striker Dura is already covering, then one of their midfielders steams out side him so he has to sprint after him. Poor.

Did notice that quite a few times - at one stage Dura screamed at him but obviously he didn't get the messagevaleo2011-01-10 20:46:34

If Matthew Breeze really the best ref Aussie has heaven help us, O'Leary must be just about due for sainthood compared to that, the standard of officiating last night was deplorable, how did the linesman not see the foul on Rojas, even Robbie Slater made comment in the commentary. But I suppose its the same old treatment suffered by NZ teams in aussie.

But even saying the above after the first couple of minutes we were never going to score even if we had been there allnight.

Oh the frustation of being a Nix supporter. Those are my thoughts like em or leave em.
The TOP refs will be at the Asian Cup......AGREE the lino was poor...easy to see the foul

The thing about the foul is that Rojas didnt know how to milk it, so it didnt stand out.He still has more to learn

Have had enough of the constant moaning about the refs in these games, especially when we lose. It generally evens out over the course of a match to be the same for both sides, but die hard supporters  only see the side they are supporting. Bitch bitch moan moan

3 chances in the first 5 minutes that went begging is what should be the concern. And that there are not players on the field who can see what needs to change and fix it during the match

Don't expect me to be wiping away the tears from your eyes when reality sets in guys. I'd rather be poking you with my stick (as the choir master or scout master might have said to his charges). That's what you get for being glass half full kiddies. (PS the sun is still shining)
still hurting junior?
you will be in 6 weeks

Not really BBS.

I'd actually resigned myself to the team not making the playoffs in November or thereabouts.

I look forward to your stick being poked at me.

Nix were on top for the first 10 to 15 mins .... great save by Ryan of MaCmaster .... just posting my tho's watching the game to me you look like you don't have an on field person calling the play especially from the back ... whereas sides that seem to push us are ones that have a strong on fields leader or leaders.... your defense was quite good some of the skill of your players was excellent but there seemed to be no one caliing plays ... only seen you in one game live this year and just saying as I saw it...

Essentially maybe you lost more than a fullback at the end of the season  mybe you lost the team organisor ....

Good point Midfielder.
Sometimes I feel we need a midfield "general". Someone senior to call the shots and run things. A bit like Ross Aliosi did in our first season. Muscat and Brown and Lia are all experianced guys but they are quiet on the field and tend to do their own jobs and not boss the play around them.
