Let him stay in the NZFC. Mind you he should be used to pressure, players in that league are not as forgiving judging by some of the verbals one hears from time to time.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

To be honest Tigers, what you just posted is loltastic.

The Perth fan who did that is a legend.

I think you missed the joke.

Three for me, and two for them.

Agree.......ref was "very" average to get an appointed at this  level....love to see the match accessers report,...... who was he anyway???????????

He's an NZFC ref.

Eh? He's an Aussie ref.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I corrected myself once they walked out.  Mis-heard the announcement. Hard News2009-11-09 10:41:22

Maybe he meant the Aussie NYL, or something! Who knows!

Edit: Just read above post. Sounded like Matthew Conger maybe. Know that HN wouldn't have got it wrong. Impossible!

the referee was nothing short of a f**king disgrace.... I've seen better refing at central league level, at prem level, at capital 1 level and at every other f**king level around wellington. Whoever that guy was he was a pure twat. And i think this is one of those games where you can blame the ref he made that much difference. Where do these dickheads come from seriously?

I thought that chance in the 1st half where the ref was through and he knocked it past the post, when he could have squared it for Ifill, made all the difference. If he'd scored then, we might have gone on to win it.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

At the end of the match yesterday I recalled those words of the football philosopher, Bill Keegan, when he said "I love football". I now know this to be true. Ifootball.
