WELLINGTON Phoenix will host the Pre-Season Cup final after they overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Sydney FC 3-2 in Wollongong. Goals from Alex Brosque and Iain Fyfe had given John Kosmina's men a 2-0 interval lead but Phoenix stormed back in the second half, pulling one back through Troy Hearfield before a Shane Smeltz penalty levelled matters.
The winning goal was scored by Leilei Gao nine minutes from time.
Phoenix will host Melbourne Victory in the final on Wednesday night
