I hate essays.. will try and make it down to kings to watch it.

We're gonna win. I can feel it coming in the air tonight. Oh Lawd.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Heard something interesting this morning from a pretty good source, the people behind the corporate side of the A-League are very keen for the Nix to move round NZ more and I may have understood this wrong but even change Wellington to NZ.

That is sure to get a few of you wound up again.

Showers predicted for evening now rather than afternoon, hopefully will hold out long enough to get more people in the gate. I'm off into town hoping to run into some Ferverites!

6 of them round here, call in for pizza and a lift to the game if you want.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

f**k that. 1 or 2 games per season moved around is acceptable but nothing more. there will be less consistency from the squad, every week will be playing at a different ground. there will be no true home ground if theyre the NZ Phoenix (lol wut?)

That (traveling around) would undermine the teams ability to function WAY too much. They would end up hardly ever being at home which will enevitably end up with unhappy players. Plus there's the extra travelling costs from me

I hope they dont do that. They changed the name of the warriors from auckland to new zealand . Leave New Zealand for the national side and keep the city or regional name. I am from Auckland and the WELLINGTON phoenix are my favourite team of any code and I am a union and league supporter!
Besides I hope NZ gets a second A-league side based out of Eden Park. Auckland vs Wellington would be a massive game!
AUCKLAND Warriors
WELLINGTON Phoenix
ETC
To many decisions these days are made for money!

you should go into pyschology bopman

f**k the league screwing with our (true) home advantage !!

i can see their marketting eyes lighting up, but f**k it that's hardly going to help us finish higher !!

and as for NZ Phoenix - piss off

..

and just when  i was starting to chill and do the good vibes to the Mainland bretheren

Wellington Phoenix 4 ever....
Good to see the good people of Chch getting behind the game. I always thought that Chch would be a great place for another A-League team. There seems to be a lot of people interested in football down there....probably something to do with the lots of Brits living there. plus they would be loyal one eyed fans.

Won't happen for a while(if ever). Be great to see someone like a Canterbury version of Terry get it going. Kick it off with Ryan Nelson(local boy) as your talisman skipper(after he retires from EPL)

It would be a great local derby....Nix vs Canterbury!!!

Getting back to the match......ferkin vital. With GC in red hot form, beating Melbourne and undefeated at home for 7 games we can not expect points away there next week. We must win tonight or otherwise its a heart stopping last game of the season against CCM.

and I would say

OI BUCKLEY NOOOOO!

you might have been a great bouncer of an egg shaped ball but if you come down to Wellington wiff
waving about your silly ideas like weren't the NZ Knights great and boy didn't they knock the socks off

I would take you down to the harbour and give you some assisted swimming lessons across Cook Strait.

In all honesty surely they can see that a strong Wellington branded team with one city in behind iis much better than a weak branded New Zealand team that no one really gives a crap about. Even if you are in another city you can respect that.

I can respect that and I am an Aucklander, I would much rather travel to Wellington then have it anywhere else in N.Z

Who are the "corporate side" of the A-League, and why would they "direct" Terry & Tony to do this (by being "keen for the nx to move around"?

Maybe Sydney should move around NSW too.

instead of assisted swimming lessons maybe a "crash" course in the Norm Hewitt's brother's diving course (lasts several days apparently).

Thats a good team, impressed with the way it will line up. Good impact to come off the bench aswell. Will be very interesting to see how Caceres goes from the start, hopefully the demotion for the last two weeks gives Leo the boot up the ass he needs heading into the finals(hopefully).
