sh*t I love seeing all the Phoenix and Fever stuff around town, there's so much of it around, everyone's really getting into this, gives me a great feeling and revs up my excitement for this match.

so have our boys arrived home? anyone get to the airport?

for those not going to the game, coverage starts at 3:30pm on sky sports 1 tomorrow (sorry if it's already been mentioned)

Excellent stuff on newstalkzb  right now ... football hour with Terry and Tony. Terry just said he may come down to the Fever Zone .. but has promised not to 'take his shirt off and twirl it around ..'

I bought my 11 year old nephew a ticket as a birthday present and gave it to him last night.  The look in his eyes and tone of his voice when he asked, "Are you taking me to the game?"  were priceless.  I've taken him to a number of home games this season but he missed the previous game and this time his father's coming along too.

Reminded me of reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory as a kid, and the excitement when Charlie finds a golden ticket.

Nope, extended squad, Caceres name just in case he is back. But it's three players (Ferrante, Diego and Barbarouses) into two bench spots.

Whanau all organised, rugby mate and missus keen as and Auckland mate flies in to night - the team is assembling and starting the build up - a "loosening up" lunch booked for tomorrow - we will be so amped by 4.00pm tomorrow.

Well, this my earliest start ever for a game .. unlikely to be posting again as am heading to Paekak 6am tomorrow to volunteer at another sports event ... but have insisted that we leave there at 2.30pm at latest and hope that will give us time to arrive and take in some ambiance before kickoff.

Been sporting Stripey for the last two days and today Junior junior was wearng his Wgtn til i Die birthday present - got a few nods at Queensgate and found out that a checkout operator at local supermarket was also a season member.
 
Junior junior wants to wear Wgtn ti I Die tomorrow but might have to compromise (maybe wear it in the morning @ Shandon Junior Golf and put Stripey on top for the game).

6am holy crap. I'm going to a dance party tonight and hope to be home about 6am lol and have already set my alarm for 2pm tomorrow & will b too much of a zombie till the game starts to have nerves
