Both channels ran (very) small bits on the news tonight

Sincere apologies if this is out of order but two of us have started a new A-League website (with Socceroo content sorry to say) and just wanted to get the name out there. It's at www.footballau.com

Cheers and good luck with the Fred revolution

We need to remember that that is both Free to Air news channels having coverage of the Phoenix on National news, on a day when the All Blacks played.

It's coverage that most Aus sides would kill for.

And in all fairness Fred is only a big name to people who have followed the a-league, not a bonafide big name or someone with some kind of story. For this reason also I can't see him initially being an extra draw for crowds. And news is right, All Blacks play today and Sunday, RLWC Grand Final this weekend and The cricket test starts tomorrow. Big sporting week

Im looking forward to the Melbourne game at RoF the next week, the Melbourne side will be fired up and by what I have heard and there will be big support from Melbourne coming across the tasman to watch it at the stadium.

Yes that is true but is any of those games are playing in Wellington at the same time besides the long winded cricket on TV? Then people should drag themselves along and get real entertainment in the ROF. Can't be that tough for Wellingtonians to decide even some of the heathens can go along.

Based on the sh*t support Melbourne have brought over to date I suppose this means there might be upto a dozen of them then.

Tards have had a big contingent come here before, I think there was about 50 for the first game last season.

I disagree but I've got no proof.

That's what people who have small appendages say.

Back to the match.. .

Apparently we are the favourites to win the match... score...

Pun intended!

I think that is the second time this year that we are favourites. First time was the 1-0 home loss against the Roar.

Anyone got anything on the squad for the match. I'm expecting little changes apart from Fred for someone.

I'd omit Coveny and Hearfield.

Has anybody heard anything new on the Newcastle-and-their-illegal-advertising-shirts issue?

if we win, will it be the first time we've won twice in a row?
