"By the way there is no r in brothel." - so is it 'bothel'?

Something that bothers me is what if a player trips over his feet or stumbles under no/minimal contact and is awarded a penalty?  They could tell the ref they stumbled but the refs made his call and can't go back on it so you could still be banned?

Great to see that the Gold Coast match was not a one off. Another fantastic performance and result.

However, in my opinion Tim Brown dived. Hopefully we do not see any more theatrics from the Phoenix as it gives the game a bad name - especially in this country where we are trying to convert rugby fans.

Anyway, roll on Sunday. Bring on Perth!

    Mon the Phoenix!
You seen a replay since originally seeing it? Originally i thought the same, but upon replay,it is actually quite a clear penalty.

    Allegedly

Was up from CHCH and thoroughly enjoyed the game.  Stood with the fever but didn't get the moobs out, was freaking freezing.

Looking forward to the 14th when I can do it all again.

Went to the 4kings before hand to see some feverites but there wasn't many there!

Oh the backbencher.  Got that mixed up, thought it was the 4kings.  Never mind. Got some $4 pints in...

Oh, and CHCH had nothing on that temperature and wind Wednesday night.

The second point is fair enough - I'd be happy if my mayor wasn't Lhaws, Shadbolt, Banks or Prendergast...

Mysky'd the jets game while i was at the rof, and am re-watching it now.

commentator after the shirts came off:

"It's pretty clear that the yellow fever have not only stamped their mark on this a-league, but NZ sporting folklore in general"

Some of us go back to the backbencher rather than the foreskins as it's closer to the trains for us that don't live in Welly.
