Flying up to Welly for this one but the outlook for Sunday is rain which ain't good, I hope the public are still faithful.
Looking forward to get back into the zone. It's been a bit of a break between innings, was last at the Queensland game where Haynaldo was a w**ker and Smeltzy scored an amazing goal.

Gao in for Kwasnik, Daniel benched, Johnson starts instead.

Nix 3-1.

See ya at the BB

Lochhead                                    Muscat
                     Mckain      Durante
                                 Moss

Can't replace dodd with johnson because i just don;t think hed last( johnson). Im guessing mulligan still isnt fully fit, maybe on the benc -thats where id put him.

Bench: Paston, mulligan , johnson, coveny( just ahead of hearfield seems to be more of an impact player)

why do the nix play with 2 dm  when most oposition play only with 1 or 2 strikers which a back four can normally handle by playing with one dm allows 4  certral midfielders which helps your attract as smeltz was left by himself too often

i think you would need a pretty solid defender to play 1 DM and 3 very attacking minded midfielders - someone lke Jonas Salley perhaps

keep daniel imo, hes a star

This statement is all wrong.

Bertos was rubbish with El**ch-type crossing. Daniel set up our only goal with a brilliant assist.

I would go along with this, and possibly bring on Bertos and Daniel later in the 2nd half and punish them down the flanks.. Cos we're WELL ARD

Lei Lei out according to HN so i would think at most we will see one change for the weekend, with Johnson in for Dodd, even then i don't think that will actually happen. Ricki will want to stick with Dodd to give him another go.
Also Leo was on with Darcy again this morning, is this going to be a regular thing on Friday mornings? Was it friday he was on last week?

One of the most sensible comments on here.
Lets hope sooner rather than later

I agree with valeo, would be good to see Costa, maybe even coming off the bench, I don't particularly rate Coveny anymore, he getting (got) past his best, so  I would include Costa on the bench ahead of him any day.

I disagree with putting Daniel on the bench, I think he played well last week, wasnt great but did well, after all it was the first game of the season.

I think the team needs him in tehre from the start,.

Just need to start passing the ball around like they did last season. Watched a few practices at Newtown park this week and alot of time was given to this aspect.

Would like to see Richard Johnson start, would also keep  Kwasnik in starting lineup. Makes space for other players with his runs and gave the flick pass to Daniel to set up Smeltz.

Bring on Sunday, this week is just dragging on.

I don't get how people try to justify dropping Daniel but having Kwasnik in is fine? Did Kwasnik really play better than Daniel? I don't think so.

I have been wondering if we would be able to see him and Draper is well this season, since they may have improved slightly.

Why the face? That's an even stronger line-up for Welli than I thought there would be, with Gao back (who was saying Gao wasn't playing lol?).

If both Gao and Bertos aren't match fit on Sunday, here's how I'd line up:

                                      Moss

Muscat                McKain            Durante            Lochhead

                                     Johnson

    Hearfield             Ferrante       Kwasnik        Daniel

                                 Smeltz

Paston
Dodd
Christie
Coveny

Just noticed that neither Costa or Coveny are in the squad, that would mean Siggy to take Coveny's place and a very lopsided bench

Godammit, this would be the perfect chance to have Costa on the wing. (if Leo and Gao are both out)

How come they can bring him in? I thought the youth league set up meant aussie teams can't bring in injury replacements?
