To change my season pass to the zone for the match is it a $6 fee?

We must win this game to keep up our playoffs ambitions, but more importantly we need to play well, and try to put the adelaide game behind us.

Dear Perth,

Even though you are paying better, in my eyes, you still suck.

Love Cosimo

PS. I was faking that night - and yes, my ex is bigger than you.

I was going to post a sensible, carefully thought out tactical analysis of why I think that team selection is flawed. I was going to do that, but I can't stop laughing long enough..

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Incredible! - That's the same team that my grandmother picked!

Whatever team we pick will more than likely have to cope with the speed of Rukavytsya on the break, it seems he is coming, from todays Melbourne age

""Striker Nikita Rukavytsya, who missed Perth's 3-1 win over Melbourne with a calf injury, did some light training drills yesterday and is set to join the squad for the away clash with Wellington Phoenix on Saturday. Wayne Srhoj (shoulder) is a definite starter against the Phoenix, while midfielder Adrian Trinidad (ankle) will be assessed later in the week.""

The prospect of a great game ahead, can't wait

bugger - going up for this game and was hoping to see Fred in action.
Should now be a place for Daniel in the starting line-up though.

Daniel is a different player to Fred, though. I'd say Hearfield will start.

Yip, I'd give the spot to Hearfield.

probably will be Hearfeild....but he is a completely different style of player to Fred. This is a real shame for Fred and for the Phoenix. Sometimes in football you need a little luck.....well we have just been dealt a big slice of bad luck.

I personly would like to see Daniel get the spot. He would possibly offer more creativity centrally than Hearfield. I hope Daniel has been watching Fred play....Daniel has a good set of skills but he needs to match Freds work rate....both on attack and defense. what I did like about Fred is the way he tracked back on defense if the ball was lost. He will be a big loss to our chances of making top four.

I would rather Daniel started but I just can't see it happening. Hearfield has been pretty good off the bench and is possibly the safer option.

They better work there asses off, the only 2 games i've managed to make it to was a draw and a win, I couldn't stomach a loss like last week live!

Didn't mention specific  players for sat but alot of talk about sports science and fitness, mentioned that Hearfield is right up there. Did say that we would see more of Daniel soon.
Big issue is keeping the non-playing squad happy as they can go weeks without playing.

Did he say why we haven't seen much of him until now? What's changed?

With Fred gone we need someone to step into the central creative attacking role. In the last few games it has been Daniel who has replaced Fred. Seems obvious that he should start there. Hearfield is a good player but he is completly different to Fred. He is a wide player. The few attempts this season to play him more centrally have been a dismal failure(i.e first shambles against Perth)

Before Fred the Phoenix posed no threat down the middle. It was too easy for defenders to shut down our attacks down the flanks. At least Daniel has the potential, with his better ball skills to play the more central role. I think it would be a huge tactical error to start Hearfield against Perth. Daniel does however need to up his tempo...both on defense and attack. Sure hope he has been watching Fred the last few weeks.

My point is that Daniel has been here since Day 1, before Fred arrived. He has had practically no game time so far this season, so why is Ricki saying" we'll be seeing more of Daniel soon"? Why 'soon', why not now? Has he been carrying some mystery injury all season that nobody knew about? Is Ricki planning some major tactical change in the near future? Just seems to me that it's  an odd thing to say.

agree- Daniel will have to lift his intensity although hasnt had many opportunities to prove himself (hard to impact on a game when you get on with 10 or so minutes remaining).

Hopefully he'll be fired up as certainly has a point to prove and try and regain a permanent starting place - of course we dont know if he's starting this week though do we - yet....
