Yeah, thought the same. A bit more confident it seems...

the entire Nix squad seems more confident

I think 16 points from the last 8 games might have given a few of 'em that, and us...

Probably not. Radiosport/newstalkzb don't usually cover away games, and I think Sydney are the only club that don't have a partner station that covers their games.

Deliberate handball is only red if you are stopping a goal from being scored,

"denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area"

"There are circumstances when a caution for unsporting behaviour is required when a player deliberately handles the ball, e.g. when a player:
deliberately and blatantly handles the ball to prevent an opponent
gaining possession
attempts to score a goal by deliberately handling the ball"

Think we were quite poor. Had a lot of possession but made quite a few terrible errors at the back which put pressure on ourselves.

Been impressed with Hearfield. Not so with Smeltz. One of his worst games of the season so far unfortunately.

Feel with Hearfields efforts the Nix should be infront, Smeltzy not really in it in first half again. Bertos needs more touches to become effective...

I'm suprised Bertos has been pretty quiet considering the young backline Sydney are fielding. Cole isn't a fullback either.

Our defence is definately a worry though. They have parted like the red sea on a couple of occasions. (for example, Lochhead waving Adam Biddle through..)

+1 I'd play Cole in an midfield role with free roaming.

Hey nothing else has worked for Sydney this year....

Yeah Lochhead's defending has been pretty shocking so far. Hope he can get back to his usual self! Smeltz needs to get a bit hungrier as well, though I'm guessing Sydney are doing their best to mark him outa the game.

Started off great but we sitting back now and letting Sydney back into it. Gotta keep pressuring the ball cos they will cough it up every time and then off we go with Leo and Troy.

Don't worry bout Smeltzy, we've seen displays like this from him before and then he will pop up at the right time and place, keep the faith!!!

McKain played some real nice crossfield balls aye, Manny has to read those better and get the ball under control

CMON NIX!

our build up play is alright just the last part (scoring) is eluding us, we can't let these young bastards think they have a sniff otherwise we may end up in trouble.Brosque is having a pretty good game for them

Think poor is harsh, Valeo. I feel we've played better "football" going forward than in recent weeks( watching Gary v. Egmond?), although we still look toothless in the box.

Agree with the errors at the back causing some hairy moments. Unusually, I include Moss in that. Apart from the save from the free kick, his fumbles aren't inspiring confidence.

What's going on with Lochhead? It's like he's on valium or something today. Then Dodd f**ked up horribly after doing well for most of the half. Can see this one going pear shaped if that defence doesn't tighten up quick smart.

they are talking up that crap from Brosque- it shows him moving into Hearfield and pushing him, hearfield pushing him back and Brosque going down looking for the free kick.
