I haven't seen the replay, just live, so these ratings are prob not as accurate as they might be , so disagree where you want....

Mossy 6 Mostly sound, nearly carried ball over own line!
Boxall 6 Did well, shame about the card, but oh well
Siggy 7.5 Strong against Djite
Dura 7 Defence will be very disappointed with their last min goal, otherwise fine
Manny 7 He's a legend
Riera 7 Consistently good
Lia 8 Was terrific last night
Kenny 7.5 Great goal, making a real impact, still having a few errors too
Carlos 7.5 See the wink at Galekovich before the penalty! Sums it up.
Stein 6.5 Very unlucky, not quite his usual self
Tyler 6 Some great runs, no finish
Hicks 6 Did a good job
Brockie 5 Shots were astray, including after rounding the keeper and it went out for a throw in, tough angle through
Roy 4 Minimal impact

To sAy Roy's impact was minimal is a slight on all things minimal. Apart from a two footed lunge at Galekovic I am struggling to think of anything. He was supposedly the quickest thing in the ASBP? If that's the case there must be some right plodders playing. Yet to see anything to suggest he will be here beyond the end of the year

I think Boxall was superb overall. He has really cemented his place in the team.

He seemed to slot into the Kenny role in the midfield, due to the earlier subs. Maybe he should have come on instead of Brockie earlier so he could slot in up top. Haven't seen anything that shows me he can step up yet.

I loved the moment when it showed galekovic mouthing something at Carlos when lining up to take the penalty and Carlos giving him a wink before slotting it home

He was dreadful.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

He was trash but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt considering Kenny was pretty trash in his first handful of sub appearances also.

fast becoming the new Totori - brilliant in ASBP - but when faced wioth defenders who actually know how to shut down a quick player he looks average - the fact he even thought he could get the ball from Galekovic just show has shite the keepers in ASBP are.

I think it was more desperation to make an impact than thinking he could get it. I'm not convinced by him at all but I do think he is trying. His potential career as a professional footballer is on the line here and he needs to relax a touch if he can.

I thought his first game showed some good signs, but not since, and think you are probably right about what's on the line, his desire to make an impact and needing to relax a bit.  #tooearlytotell #signscouldbebetterthough #goodlucktohim

Ok Im sure im going to get flamed for this but I thought that was Rieras worst game for us. He wasted a lot of ball in the first half. Was solid in the second but still below his usual best.
Will be interesting when Fenton gets back. Does he come in ahead of Boxall? Is Boxall better than Siggy? Tough calls.

Gee, I'd be tempted to say that Fenton has to wait behind Boxall now, which might give him room to become a force up front or from the midfield...which would be like signing a new player IMO

Also harsh call on Kenny seeing he basically won us the game and was energetic all across the park.

On Boyd I think at times I wanted him to cut inside and put the defence in two minds- was he going to square it or shoot- which would have made his shots higher percentage.

On the other hand, Boyd getting down to or near the by-line and cutting balls back is something we missed when Leo was on the flank but mixing the approach up from the wing is always a good thing, the ball he put across for Huysegems looked just like a Rojas/Thomson combo from last season.

Agree. Haven't been impressed with him at all, but I wasn't impressed that much by Cunningham or Riera either in their first few outings either, and they've improved a lot (Riera, to a massive extent). Being thrown on as a sub relatively late in games isn't helping his cause much either.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I haven't been able to see a Nix game since before christmas so I was very interested to see Riera in action. He did make some defensive mistakes in the first half but overall I was very impressed with him. It was almost entirely due to the constant pressure from our midfield that Adelaide weren't able to produce anything other than the angled crossfield ball behind our defence, which was generally tidied up without trouble.

Thought Lia was excellent, did all that slog work you expect from your mids, plus he and Riera are transitioning the ball from defence to attack very effectively - a big change from a few months ago. Encouraging to see a resurgent KC too. Got through a surprising amount of defensive work until he ran out of puff.

Agreed, but it seems Lia was more than capable of stepping up his game to cover the lapses from Riera.

I thought he was not up to his usual standard. He can have an off game now and again though as he is brilliant.

I did notice that and I was yelling out at Stein to cross early like that duo and not take 3 touches when he got the ball out wide later in that game...Stein shoulda buried that. Was impressed by that delivery.

edit: and as 'bad' as Riera was I noticed a tonne of work he was putting in late in the game when were not threatening at all. Ridenton > Roy based on the couple of games we've had so far or Roy is out of position.
