It occurs to me that during this competition

- we have not scored a goal in the first half of any game (aggregate 0-3)

- we have not conceded one in the second half (agg 5-0)

Coincidence?  The Ed Baranowski effect?  Good stern halftime RH talk?

Allowing for price I am sure.

Good luck tomorrow and good pressure on SKY to get it TV.

BTW on most forums are considered top four this year. IMO I think it will come down to the final round

I happened to be channel surfing earlier (load of crap on tele tonight) and was just passing through Sky Sport  when Re-Union was on. Was just on the verge on moving on and I heard them put a plug in for Sky's coverage of the game tomorrow night. I could hardly believe what I was seeing.

The look on Tony Johnstons face was priceless, I wasn't sure whether he was going to choke on the words or just find a nice corner and have a good cry.

Go the Mighty Nix!!

Looks like the weather gods are on our side today.

You can count out TV1 covering any Nix games (not that they ever did) on sports for the next few weeks because they too busy covering the Olympics.

the world (or at least NZ is changing) and the media (despite, some of their personal fetishes) has to keep up or lose out

the people are starting to speak up, and Sony, ZM, Inter-Isalnder, Wellington beds etc (who were quick to realise this) will reap the benefits - good on them!!

Yellow Fever has hit Old Trafford:

"United took all the necessary precautions ahead of the Nigeria trip. The players took malaria tablets and, for those who had not travelled to central Africa in the last ten years, received the required Yellow Fever jab."

Rooney to miss start of the season

Kevin Muscat... is a cripple, is a cripple!
Kevin Muscat... is a cripple, is a cripple

and

Where's your Muscat gone, where's your Muscat gone?
Where's your Muscat gone, where's your Muscat gone?

Then, when he returns for the regular season match and we still win:
Kevin Muscat, Kevin Muscat
Oh what a difference you have made,
Oh what a difference you have made!
(Stolen from Man Utd when they sang this to us in the 83 Cup Final replay for Steve Foster )

I like:
Where's your Muscat gone, where's your Muscat gone?
Where's your Muscat gone, where's your Muscat gone?

Good for around and during the announcement of the Melbourne players before kick-off.
Or when the players come out, depending on timing.

While writing this, I thought -  it is a pity we don't get enough away supporters to sing at
but then I remembered, it's not about us, it's about supporting our players and now I'm back on track

There is a constant queue of 5-10 people at the shop the times I have wandered past and while I spent time in there.

Like RYOS and CHAMPS they should put a coffee machine in and some couches so it's comfortable for me to avoid work there.

How's my driving? - Whine here
