Halftime 0-0

Gao down injured as the players leave the pitch

So far in the tournament we have scored all our goals in the second half and conceded all our goals in the first half. 0 - 0 at half time, looking good.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Siggy much improved on his last performance.

Muscat looks good. Sigmund playing good too but still not sure about him at right back
Pretty disapointed with us in the final 1/3 of the pitch. Come on gao and bertos

Sigmund playing fantastic by my books. Mckain looks fantastic, Muscat looks OK nothing too fantastic. Bertos been naff, Gao showing glimpses of quality, Smeltz and Kwasnik not really involved

Looks like Piney's winning them over on the Tard forum.

Dewhurst commentating like he's still on bloody radio, in otherwords could hold a convo underwater atm.

Apart from that i'd say fairly even 1st half although i do think we have had the better chances.

Three for me, and two for them.

Only watching on TV.  First half dominated by defence, no decent chances either side.  We look a little toothless in attack. Bertos has had some good momemnts on the right, but on the left we are awol. Badly need Daniel on, hope to see him in second half.  Kwasnik hasn't impressed me (which probably means he'll score).  Fullbacks (Sigmund/Muscat) doing OK.  But overall foregettable.  And as for the TV commentary, don't get me started...

Both teams have had there chances.

Was all Phoenix for the first 20 minutes.

Leo Bertos made some good runs down the right flank, just his final ball quality has been poor.

Kwasnik has had a few chances, including a header put over from a LeiLei Gao freekick from the sideline.

Smeltz (The Nix main target man and goal scorer) has been pretty much non existant, would like to see more from him in the second 45.

"They seem to not take a breath, just continually rambling on about random bullsh*t."

Actually, if Dewhurst is commentating on TV - he might be the target...

This from the Melborune Forum:

"- The ref is sh*t
- The commentators are even worse
- And Leilei Gao is a little bitch"

Ha ha ha! Bout time we had some Kiwi commentary to make the aussies cringe. After all we've put up with their sh*t too long. . .
