A few people needed to harden the **** up.

Words have been spoken and we won't see any of the Michael Vaughanesque rubbish this week.

Everyone was buzzing at work today! Even people with a slight passing interest in the 'Nix (and even true Egg Chasing fans!) are talking about it and going on Wednesday!!

Could someone with a DVD recorder record it and stick the file on the internet so we can all download it and keep it?

Can't wait for the game. been spreading round school and people seem to be keen since it's on a Wednesday night even the fellas who usually rip the sh*t and then start a half an hour convo about how they hate Graham Henry. Hope the weather holds but no matter shirt will be coming off in the last 10 minutes when phoenix are up 3-0

What's the best way of telling the flattie that her birthday dinner comes second on Wednesday night? The suggestion of a birthday of stadium food and the mighty Phoenix didn't fly, and apparently we already have reservations at some restaurant. Why do I live with non-Phoenix fans?!!!!!!!

do you sleep with your flattie? if the answer is no then she is more than welcome to join you in the ROF or at 4kings after the game. the other option is for her to change the night of her dinner.

those are the choices, i look forward to seeing you in the ROF

Just booked a $70 flight up for it, gonna be epic, attendance record and option? The media really needa get behind it tonight on the news and in the papers to let NZ know its happening. We have a better chance of winning this than the trinations I think (given the South Africa away leg to come after getting beaten in Carisbrook - was a mean night down here in Dunners though!).

Beaver, how did you get $70 tickets at this late notice, I must be looking in the wrong place?
Thought about going into town and seeing if the Bog would put it on, if not then the Terrace (not my favourite venue).

Currently trying to book cheap flights for the 2nd Victory home game in November.

I'm sure Big Dunc at the Four-kings will record the game and play it afterwards for everyone to relive the glory.

Its no longer a problem.

I thought Tony P was a bit light on his projected crowd of 6-8000. Surely more will get along for a final.

The question is Royal, do people even know it's on ?

Obviously we're all going but does Joe Punter even know ?

Remembering the All Whites crowd on a Wednesday and the lack of profile I reckon 6k - hope I'm wrong though.

Uncharterted territory being a Wednesday I know, could be interesting. The good thing is I think we've just about surpassed Tony's conservative crowd estimates most timesRoyal2008-08-05 10:09:07

Well we can get the word out there, I've already emailed around the whole company letting people know its on and pricing and such to see how many I can inspire.  There's a lot of Fever boys out there to spread the word.

We used ours for the pre-season match against CCM, and have used them for most of the Phoenix games last year so I can't see it being a problem.

I got into the deloitte lounge for the last pre season game so i dont see any reason why not, just get your food and beer before you head upstairs, they wont open the bar up there untill the season starts proper.

What happens if it goes to penalties and Melbourne choose the far end of the pitch?

Mass exodus or bust out the binoculars?

Victory will again be without its veteran captain, Kevin Muscat.

Merrick does not want to risk the rising 35-year-old, who is recovering from a hamstring injury

good value Muscat, but the real reason is, he does't want him sent off again - without Muscat we have a better show of winning this.

they blocked most of that end off with rope, stopping people from sitting around there for the ccm pre season game, not sure if they'll do the same tomorrow though
