It'd be a shame if Customs found a rotten apple when the Bitumens came through.

I'll take the loss, so long as we win a game this season.

We need to coordinate what we should do and say to these turn coats.

How about turning our back to them, I am sure I will get some people who will rubbish my idea, but its just a start!

How about putting some more ideas on this forum??

I would be disappointed if we treated Dura in such a way given his length of service as our captain.

Rudan though is a different story

Coming down from Auckland for this.

Does this mean we now have a genuine rivalry with another A League side?

totally disagree, Dura, whilst a great of our club, had a chance to stay but chose to leave! had he gone to any other club I'd be ok with it, but he chose to go to snake FC with the biggest Judas ever!

Yeah, I agree. It felt like a big kick in the teeth. I always expected him to retire at the Nix and maybe take up a backroom role but I wouldn't have been disappointed in him leaving to another club if it wasn't for the circumstances around this.

He was a great servant of the club and an absolute legend for us, but he walked out to join a guy who appears to have shafted the club by working to build his new side when he was still contracted to be doing that for us.  By all accounts we were trying to get Dura to stay too. I feel like he doesn't necessarily deserve as much anger as Rudan but he's also forfeited a fair amount of goodwill there. At the very least I don't think he deserves a warm welcome

We may win the banter battle. But on the field, we are going to get humped.

Super excited! Living in Chch so going to watch on sky.

A real tough one to call as it's a transformed Nix side playing against a brand new club.

Both clubs had respectable pre seasons but I'm expecting 3 points being the season opener and at home.

That's if we want to be playing finals footy. The real test will be Victory, Sydney FC and Perth so if we struggle against the new boys on the block we're in trouble

Gutted I won't be there, I expect the zone to be pretty rusty on the song sheet this season especially at the start with no Dura to sing about on repeat anymore.

Understand that BUT he plays for the opposition and for that reason alone should be fair game. I certainly dont want to hear anyone start up his chant unless his name has been replaced with someone else.

you if the "dura" song starts I'll be super annoyed, and I'd expect our own players would be a little confused as to why we are chanting for an opposition player too,

Crap just realised that with no Dura, Krishna, Singh and Williams most of the regular chants are gone. Gonna be a long preseason for chants in the zone by the sounds of it.
