If we just claim we don't have the right sponsors on the black or Yellow the FFA would let us play in orange.

The white shorts in our away kit makes it easier anyway as their home kit has dark shorts.

Brisbane will probably be playing in a special yellow and black shirt with white shorts so they don't alienate the people of Cairns though

Merrick isn't happy about a 4pm kick off where temperatures will be in the 30s and humidity in the 80s. The Phoenix will go out to attack but he admits that they probably won't be up to it.

Humidity won't be in the 80's at that time of the day. Temp at 4pm today was 31 and humidity was 55%

The FFA keep fudgeing with the metrics and they are making it more and more obvious that they want to fudge the Nix over at any opportunity. I know it is not nice to wish ill of people but if Gallop, and the Lowy's die a slow death in a car accident, this is one fan that wont shed a tear. I am sick of this mind fudge that they are giving us every single fudgeen week.

I think Danaskos should go one better, and try this time for a red card without having ever taken the field.

Why on earth are the FFA getting involved in what colour shirts teams wear?  If they accept a clubs 'away' strip at the start of the season, that should be it. Dont tell them to wear their 4th kit and don't let the home team change their strip that causes a clash with the visitors away strip. This is a classic example of an organisation getting too involved in the stuff that doesnt need their interference, a la Helen Clarke's last years in office.
