Can't wait for this game against the Reds, another true test of our work-in-progress.

Can we keep up the momentum? Will Kurto save a certain goal? Will Burns score a goal? Will Rudan pace up and down the sideline?  Will Singh get a yellow card for looking harshly at an opposing player?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

after watching them last night, I would expect us to win by two or three.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I think this will be a hard game to win, Adelaide are a hit and miss but at home should be up another level.

Is there a pre-match pub that Nix fans congregate? First visit to Adelaide,. A bit excited.

I know, I know, its serious!

I guess the lineup remains reasonably the same, which is nice.

Only question I can see is again whether Kopczyński starts or not.

Anyone got a suggestion re: pub in Kapiti (Raumati/Paraparaumu) that will show the game?

Very amped already for this one.

In two minds re: Kopa starting. Feels like a game that we might want some tactical flexibility on bench, both opposition and conditions wise - Kopa maybe offers more of that than Doyle? But, a fully fit Kopa is a step up in class, though I've been impressed by how Doyle's been operating too. And, this is the thing now in recent weeks - Rudan seems to be creating a true squad here now, where every individual is apparently made better by those around them.

It's bloody exciting.

Definitely a good moment to be a Nix fan.  Just hope the welly public get behind them in the next game!

Will be on my way back to NZ during this game so gonna miss it annoyingly. Can't see a reason to change things up, Doyle is playing well and Kopa will need to fight his way back.  I'm sure we'll need to mix it up in the next few weeks anyway.

Hoping for another solid performance from the boys, will definitely need to produce something a bit special as we've got a terrible record at Coopers. Last time we beat them there from memory was when Tyler Boyd was knocking about and we won 3-1. Will be very happy with a score like that come F/T on Saturday.

Sweltering temperatures around Adelaide until the weekend too. High 30's, early 40's until Saturday, when it's supposed to drop back to a comparatively cool 25°C.

COYN!

Adelaide have been the worst match up for us over recent years, haven't beaten them once in the last 9 matches.

Had a dream that both Singh and Fenton scored in the first two minutes... Then they both had to come off with heat stroke

not plausible at all. An a league game requires at least 3 ridiculous incidents per game

Chance that Goodwin will get called up to the Australia team as they need to bring in another injury replacement. That'd be nice!

The Joiners is a good pub, great location for Hindmarsh, will be packed with Reds fans, but they're usually up for a bit of banter. If you like interesting beers The Wheatsheaf is a great pub that's only a medium walk to Hindmarsh.

That's why they did it on the first day of the transfer window, give NZF a whole month to process it.

Cheers. Pinetree Arms seems like the place. Staff at other two suggested that regular patrons might make a fuss if football was shown on TV, one even suggested they might riot. Shark, sometimes I reckon NZ still has a way to go...

Weather gods have certainly played their part.

Mate visiting Melbourne says it was a horrible 42 degrees there yesterday, and he spent the whole day indoors around aircon. Today in Victoria the forecast is a pleasant 24 Celsius !

Rang up a few pubs in Miramar and Kilbirnie to see of they're playing the game, unfortunately everyone seems to be watching cricket for some strange reason. Looks like some tactical googling for me then
