Had to look up Dadi's pen as I couldn't remember, now I know why my brain had wiped the memory of it

This happened before I supported the Nix, so I have far less mental scars than the rest of you. My only pain has come from disappointing finals performances. And lack of finals.

Here's to a kickstarting result to make the finals!

Ah, the innocence of youth...

Nobody feels any pain
Tonight as I stand inside the rain
Ev’rybody knows
That Baby’s got new clothes
But lately I see her ribbons and her bows
Have fallen from her curls
She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl

I really don't know who is worse, us or them

and it was the same last week, we are playing pretty damn crap sides, but we are worse.

When we lose the "game in hand" to WSW , we may as well commit hare kiri.

Our only hope is Sydney probably think they will stick 5 past us on Saturday without turning up.

The VAR was rather quiet this game compared to CCM vs WSW..

We had our chances but never took them,  both teams were equally shark. Parkhouse is much better on the left, they were all over AK9 in this game once Vidosic came off

I'm mystified at a left footed player being on the right (Draco Malfoy) and our left footed player being on the right (Ridenton). Is this so they can get to the bi-line and then stop head back and cross so the ball is swinging in. Genius!!

It's almost as good as when we had all 4 left sided players on at once in an earlier game - Parkhouse, Abbas, Doyle, Galloway. At least Galloway hasn't played on the left for us yet due to no right back being on the books.

Thought we looked sharke the whole game personally. Defending OK, but that's about it.

I've noticed the Yellow Fever section at home games has been looking more sparse every week.

Yeah its getting pretty grim. We're supposed to be the most die hard fans who love the club no matter what, obviously thats not that case with all those who used to come but now can't be arsed.

We're passionate when we're trying to get rid of coaches.

As Doloras pointed out, we're not there yet.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I know that no has yet, but it would be hard to blame those that no longer show based on the hardship we've all had to endure over the past long time :(

I was at work so have no idea of the match. Vickmeist won't even record them now when we are looking bad. She didn't even mention the match when I came home and her comments last night dried up in the 2nd half.

So what happened and what was wrong with us? Who played well and who badly? Tactics did they work or not?

Any glimmer of hope?

No. I expect nothing. Happy with draws. Will enjoy every win like it could be the last.

haha excellent!! coyn

Ridenton was within a whisker of winning the game for us... on another day he would have scored 2 rather than a great hit the post and  brilliant diving block keeping him out

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

We are in the position where if our first choice 11 started every match we would probably finish 7 or 8 in the league. Unfortunately the reality is that there will always be times when key players are unavailable and the fringe players like Rufer, Parkhouse, Watson and Abbas are not A League quality.

Hopefully the club brings someone in during the January transfer window but the fact is we are the bottom team in a low profile league. Hoping we might get a young player on loan from a European club who needs some game time. Time for The coach to use the contacts he has built up over the years

Im all for giving a guy a chance. Ernies results were poor for a long time. But what I see now from the Phoenix does not fill me with hope at all, and in fact makes me question what the hell is going on.  The last two games we have looked like a bunch of amateurs that have never met before.

ernies early  results were not that poor. We drew a lot of games but it always felt like we were going to give someone a fudgeing. We eventually did and went on to lead the league in late January.

This feels different. Very different

The first four or so games I was sure we were finals bound and about to thrash someone, and to be fair we almost did for a couple of games.

We looked great at the start of the season but something has gone wrong since then.

I think it shows how naive David Dome's comments the other day were, we were actually over achieving with our goal scoring against where we should have been for the play we had.  Ultimately it's time for the coaches to earn their $$.  No doubt there will be changes in January but it's all about staying in touch until then

That was Ernie's second season. His first season we didn't win a game in the first 10 and we finished 2nd last with 28 points and the worst defence.
