Moss keeping us in it. Great saves

We need to step it up in the 2nd half. Burns, McG, Roly all look flat. Burns has been especially disappointing.

We are sleeping walking this first half.....Ernie needs to give them all a good kick at half time. Our midfield is non existent......they are giving Antonis and co so much time and space on the ball. Unless we pick up the pace we will lose this. Arnold has got his side well drilled and they seem much more focused.

What about that offside.......yet more terrible officiating in the A-League. We were two on one......you would have given better than 50/50 for us to score.

Sorry if I've forgot to take my humour pills, but these comments about Alison Flyn are outright misogynistic (previous page) and rather dodgy on this page.

Pull your heads in lads please.

We are finding it hard to get the ball and getting run over in midfield. The performance from Roly hasn't helped things. The plusses are that Sydney haven't had that many clear cut chances and that Krishna is looking dangerous. I reckon we can nick a goal.

Midfield got no ball and no room, burns and roly underhitting passes. Fenton and siggy doing well. Come on Nix

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Thanks for that. I agree.

Was it maybe the touch Krishna made towards Burns that was flagged offside?

Burns looks better when he goes central, Rolly struggling today by his standards.

Roly is very busy but he is trying to make things happen too quickly. Which is great if it comes off but at the moment he is too often passing blind or turning into trouble instead of into space.

Did Burns touch it?

The only other reason I thought was that Burns was also offside when the ball was played... but he wasn't.

Boyd may replace him at this rate.

Fixed.

At least we'll have a different linesPERSON going forward this half.

That was the only thing I could think of - that the lino has interpreted Burns as interfering with the play somehow. I do find the offside technicalities quite baffling at times.

Burns and Roy have looked dangerous in the limited ball. Are some of you actually watching?

If Burns and the lineswoman had been a bit more awake, we could be two up

No, didn't, but he was very close to touching it.

Burns may look dangerous but his passing has been woeful so far.

Yes..and offering an opinion.  There were at least two times when Burns turned once too often and missed another option.  Just not as effective so far as in recent games was my comment.
