Haven't seen much from Cunningham to be convinced in the few games I've seen this  tbh but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Kenny working his ass off tonight.

generally does to be fair.

True. Just especially noticeable tonight, IMO.

Over his early season injury and more confident...was always going to go well given current international status

We cannot find our strikers feet. They need to work harder to show in better areas as they are being tightly marked.

Fuck this stupid game

Fenton a lot more advanced tonight..high line i guess but even more so

This game started out alright but it's a shambles at the moment. Both teams justifying their positions on the table.

The defending suggests there should be plenty of goals but then the finishing suggests otherwise.

Defenders need to sit a bit deeper in the second half.

I like our passing and possession but so frustrating that we dont seem to want to shoot.  Its like we want to walk it in

And did you count how many passes he made in mid?

This is the duel of two blunt swords. Whoever finally remembers what scoring is about will win.

Do we have some cardboard cutouts we could put up front??

I have never seem anyone who works so hard, gets involved so much and achieves so little as Cunningham. He never looks like hes gonna do anything worth while.

Sigmund, Fenton , Durante and dare I say it Lia are doing ok. We have to bury chances like the one Brockie had to get ontop.

Thankfully, Heart are willing to spurn their chances at the moment as well.

NUFC so about 1000 times less than anyone else in this half then?

Predicting on-field changes for 2nd half?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I thought Sigmund's passing was quite impressive in that half - not something I'd expect to say

Oh ok, let's not worry about when he passes straight to a red shirt. Carlos hasn't done that yet.

Hernandez had a decent shot off target but Riera has been far more involved.

Unfortunately with modern football you can only carry so many purely creative players - on defence the Nix are carrying Carlos and normally Brockie as well due to the creative/goal threat they have - which means players like Kenny who are all hustle help your system work, whilst looking pretty in-effective in possession.

Kenny has not been effective at all. I don't know why there has been so much love for him on here tonight.

Fuck this stupid game

Here's the thing though our strikers, Waffles and Brockie, do not create chances.  They just hang around up front running around chasing the ball or just waiting for that miracle ball Neither actually make things happen.  And Fenton, as good as he is, lacks confidence in that final third. I just wish he had some swagger and arrogance about his play.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Which games has he been effective in? Genuine question.

Come on boys, as much as I like his brother it's time to put Aloisi out of a job.

I wonder how Kenny would go as an out-and-out winger now he's fully fit, rather than this wider centre mid who gets forward kinda position he's currently playing in
