Any chance Sapreet will be in town?

Or already heading back up north?

I see Bayern have a training camp in Qatar from Jan 4th, so I presume not, which will be a shame.

It's good they do kids go free, just a shame it's too late for my young ones still. Know club tried and it's hard to get, but much easier with earlier kick offs.

Also poor CCM with scheduling, they played Perth last night, then travel over here to face us 4 days later. Anything less than 3 points for the Nix will be disappointing.

Shame he won't be able to make that, would have been nice for him to get out onto the pitch in front of the crowd.

Can't wait for this one, I really hope we put the to the sword.  Been playing a lot of fantastic football and the team appear to really have bonded now.

Weather isn't meant to be too bad on Sat, but we'll see.

There's definite movement to get matches at earlier times in this part of the world ATM. I see Super Rugby will start half an hour earlier this year too (and a few weeks earlier to boot!). Those Dream 11 T20 games are mostly afternoon starts too.

Alen Stajcic said on FoxSports after the Perth game that he is super confident in getting 3 points form this match, CCM just might be our bogie team this season?. Not to worry as we can always get 3 points of the Jets after losing this game.

I get the feeling like those Fox Sports interviews, most people just ignore what you say anyway

Good that he's trying to keep our team grounded then. I'm sure our coach will be too.

What would you expect him to say? He's their manager and backing his team. Good on him.

Despite being dead last in the previous season, CCM still proved to be our own banana skin then. They are playing better this season. Good on them, nobody wants to see a good club perennially mired in the last place.

But this is a new season, and a new Wellington Phoenix, and we seem to have hit a bit of a purple patch now. We took the game to Sydney FC, we beat the Wanderers and Western United. Accidents do happen (just ask Taylor) but on the whole this is a game that we will win if we continue to play like we do.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Think you have got the seasons wrong, under Rudan last year we beat them 2-0 and 3-2 at home then had that 8-2 win away. It was the season 17-18 under Kalezic we lost at home 1-4, drew away 0-0, then lost 1-0 while Greeny was in charge.

Potentially got 4 newbies attending with me. Hopefully manage to get a few more to get along too. Be nice to get close to the 10k mark. Noise at the stadium last time round was pretty good, although I'm sure 12 pubs helped with that!

Have a good feeling we are in for a Hooper start

The club said that they were aiming for hooper to start this game, although it seems unlikely to me, and even if we do see him start I think it'll be a similar gig as he had against City, only playing the first half.

Why would we start some one when we have been performing better without him, even as a sub he has done nothing note worthy.

And CCM are coming for blood, we cant possibly start a weaken side just for the sake of an expensive dud.

But we need to start our strongest 11 not our weakest as we just cant underestimate any team.

Good to see CCM playing well after what they've been through, and $4.50 on the tab is way over.

Should get a good roll-up - but can't see Hooper starting.

Is Piscopo out from this game onward? If so surely Hooper to start with Ball dropping into Reno's position..

Can't wait. Haven't been to the last 2 or 3 home games. Should have Junior in tow. He's been coming to quite a few games with me since last season when he was 4 years old.
The viewing experience is totally different with a little one alongside you but I love taking him with me

I know that you are taking the piss as usual but in 15  minutes he provided a goal assist, scored a goal which was ruled out because he was an inch offside and he looked sharp covering  good ground around the park

Yep, Olyroos are gone for pretty much all of January (assuming they make the final on the 26th)

And freed up Ball  (who is a deadset workhorse) to motor around the pitch.

I actually think Ball will do even better by playing further back. Gives him a chance to use his pace and create chances for himself and Hooper

I think the Mariners will do well in midfield. Duric is quality and Stensness could well be on fire, but I do think they will come apart at the ends.  Their defense is very ordinary and the strikers more so.

Predicting 2-0.

So excited about tomorrow’s game. It’s the first game I’ll be attending in a couple of years (due to having kids blabla). anyway, I hope the weather is ok and we get at least 7k there.

Potential banana skin for us this one. Central Coast are undefeated in all competitions so far this year!

FWIW, Prime are showing the game live tonight. They've offered highlights packages so far this season, but never live action. I wonder what the thinking is behind this decision?
