I have a pretty good feeling about tomorrow. I know loads of us say this every Friday/Saturday before the game but I just do. DK talks about how united are team is now, and you could really see it the way the boys went nuts celebrating that winning goal - especially heartening to see the foreign lads showing  that they really cared too. Wanderers on the other hand are the opposite - technically are in better form than us but not by much, and their team is so disjointed and lacks cohesiveness. Look at the relationship between our star striker and coach compared to theirs. All is not well in the WSW camp, whereas our boys are riding on the high from Wednesday. Want to see everyone down there tomorrow, more cheers and more singing. Fire Up

I like this.

Some positivity and some hype.

Love your work

Amen to that. I hope they will be riding high enough to clear that Bridge!

Alrighty boys here's the hype speech. If you wanna do one too go hard.

It's been tough supporting the nix this year, a real roller coaster with a lot more downs than ups.

However, the nature of the league has a number of teams not too far above us, despite being farking average.

With last weeks win, there was a use relief, as well as a huge bonding between the team, and the fans. A lot of people are getting really negative, saying it was the red card, and just one game.

But stuff those people! Stuff them. We now have Nathan burns... Nathan dam it burns and he is all class. Ljulic is also looking super exciting and having Krishna back firing is so good.

Weemac may be off the pace but Matthew iniesta Ridenton is certainly playing well. And yes Fox is the man too!

Support the boys, a win here is HUGE! And even though I think wsw aren't bad and the king of the draw.

I know we will win 3 nil.

FIRE UP

$2.55 for a win, first time in forever our odds of winning have been better than those offered for a draw or loss

Would like to see us line up in a 4-3-3 (or a 4-1-2-3 if you consider Paracki the deepest of the midfield three) with the following lineup: Italiano; Mullen, Fox, Dura, Doyle; Paracki, Ridenton, Ljujic, Burns, AK9, Krishna. Ljujic in for WeeMac for me and Fox to keep his spot over Rossi.

Will it happen? Probably not. Can see Darije doing something silly like leaving Ljujic on the bench, or starting with 5 at the back again, or bringing Rossi back in for Fox. Would love to see Singh on the bench over Parkhouse but that won't happen!

Fire up!!!! My Phoenix evangelism is finally paying off. I'm staying at my mate's house, and his 12 year old little brother is dragging his mum to the game, and is currently on the phone to his friend trying to convince him to come too, citing the 'kids go free' bit.

Off the bottom after this one!

Yes DJ saved him for this one with the sub (4 Yellows) - Hard to see him make the trip v Jets

3 games in 7 days... some form of rotation needed.

Must win tonight for so many reasons.
Up the Nix! COYN!

Starting line up prediction:

Back five of Doyle, Rossi, Durante, Fox and Galloway.

Midfield three of Ridenton, Paracki and Ljujic,

Krishna and Kaluderovic up front.

Mullen drops to the bench for rotational purposes (plus he can cover both full back and centre back). McGlinchey to cover the midfield three. Burns is our super sub as I don't think he is fit enough to start after playing 70 minutes last week. Praying that Singh will get the last spot but more likely to be Rufer or Parkhouse.

Is there any chance Keegan starts after that absolute howler by Italiano against Victory?

Singh will be playing for the wee nix won't he?

Was on the bench against the Victory. We look better with Mullen at RB anyways, Galloway has stunk up the joint recently

Hope Burns, alright.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Anyone know how you go about getting the 20% discount on additional tickets?

Can't see anything on ticketek site. Is it an in person only thing?

I believe you can give the Nix Ticketek membership line a call (04 384 2457)

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.

So that starting XI has brought my hype down somewhat. Burns not starting is a baffling decision unless fitness not there. Would rather have him on for first 60 than last 30.
