So that starting XI has brought my hype down somewhat. Burns not starting is a baffling decision unless fitness not there. Would rather have him on for first 60 than last 30.

Maybe we're playing for another early red card #tactics

Burns and Ljujic probably need a couple more weeks to get up to standard in terms of match fitness. Only change I would have liked to see, would have been Sail/Smith in for Italiano.

This is a little worry so far. No pressure on them in midfield.

No idea? I just click 'Save' normally. Doesn't happen on any other forum.

Not too surprised with these linups - their midfield are dominant. Ridenton hasn't been sighted.

those "clever" short corners are not working

Roly winning a lot of ball but we looked dangerous on the counter there.

Goran once and Ridenton twice a bit too slow, need more urgency at this level.

Ridenton makes turnover and plays correct ball

Just putting that out there

If he wears yellow and black we should be encouraging them.

I think Ridenton is good in patches, just needs a bit more consistency

Can we sub Italiano? What's the point of having a keeper who can't make easy saves?

Well there goes that little bit of hope eh; lucky not to be 2 down

Alright, we needed that because once again we have showed we certainly can't defend. Almost scored again....

Time to change formation and actually go for it!

Ditch the conservative approach and actually play some football, it happened 3 days ago. SHOW US YOU FUCKING WANT IT PHOENIX! Get up and play!

Easy in hindsight I guess, but the conservative approach to this game was a bit baffling.

If you're a good keeper you should most definitely be able to push the ball wide if you get your hand to the ball.

The goal was from a set piece as the result of poor defending and keeping. How is that anything to do with formation or our counter attacking approach?
