Is there a temperature limit that they would pull the pin/delay the game?  Never heard of a game with two drinks breaks in a half before.

Harper sounded quite put out about that goal. Fantastic effort deserving of a lot more praise.

Roly looks like he's on the verge of heatstroke already!

Doyle scores goal of the century and Harper focuses on the Adelaide defence....

2 Goals in 15 minutes....in that heat, the final score is likely to be 6-4 fingers crossed it's to the Nix!

Masters Grade aint no run in the park on a Saturday...

I doubt it...the heat is going to reduce this in second half to just passing it around and sucking it in.

well, here I was abusing Doyle for some pretty poor touches and poor choices! If Messi had scored that goal from where he got the ball, they'd be raving about it for weeks! :)

I think this has happened already in the second sixth.  I don't think I can blame any players that make a mistake in that heat.

Imagine if Cahill scored it!

I'm not sure if Roly's clearance or Sergio's shot was worse there!

Big danger signs for us.We already look like we are hanging on in the 85th minute.

Screw these hick Adelaide crowds. Yelling at the ref as Henrique climbs him with crampons

this game highlights how important Rossi is. Our back line is disorganised and the decision making isn't great.

If we don't use all three subs later on  it will be criminal.

Everytime we turn over the ball it freaks me out

Nix brains all turning to blancmange in the heat. It will be a miracle if we get something from this I reckon.

Permalink Permalink

we are just passiing them the ball where we get it. We're keeping them in the game.

39 degrees. Barely any football being played and it's only been 30 minutes. Ridiculous they are even playing right now.

Permalink Permalink

A-Rod looks like he's struggling in the heat. A few misplaced passes and miscommunications. Going to be a slow paced game this...

38 degrees is a stupid temperature to be trying to play football - 39 now.  It really should be postponed a couple of hours.  The game will likely degenerate to a battle of attrition.

woohoo..barely in the game and scores

I think he was onside on that angle.

Harper desperate for it to be offside but proved wrong.

Getting a bit frustrated with the Australian commentary. Too pretty decent goals, one long shot, and a great counter attack, pass, and finish, yet they'll only talk about Adelaides defence. Give credit to the goalscorers pls.

Been watching 'Nix in the A League much?

But agreed.

Did they actually just stick the offside line in the right spot showing that Roy was clearly onside or have I had waaaaay too much gin? Could probably be both!

Permalink Permalink

i reckon if we could pass, we'd be dangerous.....
