Definitely feels like we could claw it back, but it also feels like we could get slaughtered.

Perth turned it the hell on for that last 10 mins.

We did the normal Phoenix-away-to-Perth thing - work really hard, as soon as 1 goal is conceded, every play forgets how to defend. To be fair; when it's humid as fudge, it's hard to think properly.

I actually think Perth worked really hard, defended high, all over our midfield.

The second goal was soooooooo frustrating

Thinking of other games we've been down this season, we may unleash a very attacking lineup after not long.

Just throw all caution into the wind this 2nd half. We haven't looked likely to be fair, even one of the commentators said we'd be happy with a point earlier in that first half, that's exactly what it looked like to me.

The problem is, setting up in that frame of mind, it only takes a moment or two (like we've just seen at the backend of the half) for us to have to pull out all stops to now fight back and maybe have a bit (or a lot!) of luck just to knick a point now.

More positivity for this second half please!

I'm hoping that Hooper does a show his class and score a few for fun.

I blame the timezone. this is the first time this season the team hasn't even bothered to turn up.

Taylor should've defended that guy maybe?

This is exactly what happens every time a NZ team plays in Perth... Yet I never learn.

Generous interpretation!

Last few years Rufer was a good player for the Nix. But this year the team got better and he just looks off the pace now. Offers nothing going forward, and not exactly a rock defensively either...

Shame we getting thrashed like this. I really expected more. That's a huge blow and disappointment

I dont think he even touched them. The ref should miss a week for this game.

Honestly that referee is an absolute failure. And how does VAR not get involved? It was a clear and obvious error, there wasn't even any contact

Payne has had two yellow offences. That wasn't one! Perth chopped us down on attack a fair few times. Ref not in control.
