Couple of lie down fouls to Sydney already. Huge gaps in the midfield

The structure going forward is a bit strange - there is an absolute chasm between midfield and defence.

Phoenix playing lots more ball to the feet. that is good.

I think we are holding shape quite well. We definately seem intent on keeping the ball when we have it. I think we look reasonably settled.

More evenly balanced. Las week was the Roy Krishna attack show. This week it's spread across. Nice.

I'm only listening on radio so I'm imagining along the lines of that Sri Lankan cricketer, Malinga?!

not as blonde, but definitely lighter than last week. maybe he is easing the look in.

similar to this.

Keegan gives me the sharks... seems so relaxed playing out from the back!

Nobody seems to be in their conventional position, but we’re cleaning every Sydney attack up pretty easily. Darije knows what he’s doing (i hope)

Lots of pressure, about as expected. Looks like a matter of time before they score tbh.

Which is exactly what Darije picked him for, right?

looks like he has Mullen and Galloway on the flanks and Doyle in Rossi’s spot

He might want to learn how to catch the ball before playing like Messi

Where on earth had Galloway (?) dissapeared to there.  Was like junior football where the whole left side had followed the ball into the middle of the park!

The  right wing being carved open too many times, where is our left back?

Some of our defence is scaring me

Sydney dominating ,we're working with scraps - but that's expected.  Nothing going forward for us so far

Doyle needs to stop bloody hoofing it every time we get it, kust a waste.

First 20 gone, relatively pleased.

Not looking awed by a team that on paper is superior. Like our pressing, seem to be doing a better job of it than Sydney who are just standing off for the moment.

Paracki nailing Brosque after the ball had gone is the right kind of defensive midfield work.

We don't look like we're panicking too much at either end. Not the usual edge of your seat Nix.

Smith trying to pass out from the back at every opportunity - commendable, but can see it biting us in the ass soon.

Im seeing composure in the passes, a willingness to play from the back and at least a few good switches, as well as a couple of good half chances in the first 4-5 minutes.

Sydney haven't done anything.
