Now with added Nix Legends game @4:20 pm.

Bling are playing Jests the day before so will probably be in 2nd place after that.

Another 6 pointer.

Manny out suspended. Not sure if Fenton is back or not.

Anyone have a yellow card count?

We've picked up a few since the AC break so maybe others are on 3 or 4?

No the Phoenix Legends game is the curtain raiser.

So far the Legends team consists of:

Paston

Daniel

Ifill

There is nothing like Tim Brown

Ferrante

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Pretty sure he got suspended in a Melbourne game the last time his wife was due to give birth.

Even if Fenton was fit, I would keep Boxall at RB with Doyle coming in as he is a left sided player. Changing both fullbacks at the same time is asking for trouble.

Agree and I said much the same in the other thread. I don't think Boxall has done anything wrong to be dropped as much as Fenton is the preferred choice and I would rather a natural left footer on that side I think so I would do as you suggested and go with Doyle and Boxall. Adelaide seem to be losing their mojo and not looking as threatening as they did in the start of the season so this could be an easier assignment that previous times.

No need to be sorry.

Saturday's time table is like this:

2.00 pm WeeNix v Canterbury United, Petone Memorial Park

4.20 pm (Curtainraiser) Phoenix Legends vs. TBC - Hutt Wreck

7.00 pm Nix vs. Adelaide, Hutt Wreck

I'm sure someone could give you a lift to the pub from the Wee Nix game?

I am thinking of going to the Weenix game. That will mean I have 3 seats from Petone Memorial to Hutt Wreck available.

I will be driving from Khandallah too so could pick up people from Wellington Train Station or near vacinity and or Petone/Woburn train stations too.

It's ~20min walk to the Bellevue. You can get off at Ava, watch the Wee Nix, walk over to the Hutt Rec afterwards.

Good time to use it then..tactically speaking.

I move that Manny (suspended from the Adelaide game) has to play for the Nix Legends in the curtainraiser!

He is a legend, and surely he can play in an exhibition game (unless the suspension is "from all forms of football")

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I think there is a 50 shades of grey screening during the legends game unfortunately.

This Saturday night’s Round 20 Hyundai A-League match at Brendan Foot Supersite Hutt Rec will now kick off at 5pm.

Football Federation Australia has announced a change to the kick off time for Saturday night’s Round 20 Hyundai A-League match between Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United at Hutt City’s Hutt Recreation Ground.

The match, due to kick off at 7pm (local time), will now kick off at 5pm, which is 3pm (AEDT) and 2.30pm (Adelaide time).

The decision was taken after lighting standards at the temporary stadium, a replacement for Westpac Stadium which was unavailable due to the cricket world cup, did not meet the stipulated standards agreed with FFA in approving the venue.

"The Hutt Recreation Ground cannot provide adequate lighting to allow the match to be played at 7pm, which was a precondition of FFA's approval of the venue to host matches at this time,” said Head of the Hyundai A-League Damien de Bohun.

“Despite numerous options being investigated over many weeks by Wellington Phoenix, the available lighting will not meet the required standards for a Hyundai A-League match at night, so it must proceed in daylight.

“This is not a decision we have taken lightly and it is regrettable that we have had to change the kick off time in the week of the match as this may cause inconvenience to fans, but we were left with no alternative”.

How many cranes can fit on the corners of the field? Not enough lights to hang?
