I'm pretty sure there was an adelaide defender in the middle outside the box. Doesn't matter though 2-0 win and 3 points. Love it.

BTW its definitely good Green with premature shirts off.

Do the Fever elders need to do a bit of restorative justice to sort out the good name of the fever and so the whole Hutt experience that seems to have been a damn good one isn't left with a sour taste?

It would be good for the Fever to front foot this. If in doubt ask what the Red and Black block would do and do the opposite I guess...

To the first question no....it sounds as if natural remedies have taken their course. Good on those YF fans who intervened on Brandon's behalf. To the second comment, a quiet word in the ears of the pikeys involved would be appropriate, when the dust has settled of course.

Does Baxters work the cake tin as well? Or we're they only at the rec to offer gourmet food?

Spotless has the contract for the stadium, so no Baxters there. Say what you want about the quality of the food from Spotless, but at least none of them have ever assaulted a supporter in the 15 years of the stadium.

I spoke to Hamish, the head of Baxter's today for a good 15 minutes. It was a good open honest discussion. Afterwards I emailed him my side of the story, and cc'ed David Dome at the Phoenix. I've heard from David too. They are going to work though all of the issues involved.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Good to hear Brandon this is not just swept aside. And good luck with healing and mending.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I want to know what the TAB would have offered for a can to go up in the air (Accidently as happened), get caught by a stiff breeze and land through a hole about 3 feet by 3 feet some 40 feet away and landing smack into a deep frier. That has to be some sort of miracle play there.

Chin up Brandon, it will get resloved in due course. imo once you guys apologised it should have finished. I can understand why the guy was angry but hey, such a flukey thing even he should have realised that.

Nobody came out of that situation well. I would imagine a can landing into a deep fat fryer would have been a pretty scary thing and outside caterers are not renowned for their patience and forgiveness.

The second can was a mistake and might have lead to Brandon being removed from the ground if it had been spotted. Would he have been banned at Westpac?

We have always handled ourselves well in the YF even if sh*t-faced. We just need to remember to get the Security in ASAP as it's there job to sort this sh*t out.

But we've all do stupid things, so lets hope this is the end of it.

The can landing in the deep fryer is not a confirmed incident. It's been repeated several times, but actually the only evidence we have from Patrick or AJ(?) above is that it didn't happened, but could have.

Anyway, it's being handled by the correct authorities so hopefully it'll get tidied up and everyone will get an outcome they can be satisfied with.

I called into the Belle Vue yesterday evening and talked to one of the Bar Girls about her experience  over the three games.

She said that  they thoroughly enjoyed the Phoenix Supporters especially those who were in the Garden Bar.

They loved the humour and said that everyone was just great fun.

If the Nix ever head back to the Hutt, I'd have no hesitation in going back to the Bellevue. It really was perfect for us.

that outside garden area is such a nice place to have a beer when it's sunny. Plus it had plenty of room for all of us.

open grandstands for one, no catch net for those accidental spillages, proximity of said catering wagons to back of stand, pikeyness of catering outfits (only joking).  Last issue; should Brandon get Darwinian fan award of the year?

The property has been bought by the hospice and they have no plans to change  it from its current use.

The Hospice has purchased the freehold and there is a lease in place to the proprietor of The Belle Vue. The Hospice will be receiving a healthy income from the lease whilst it is in place.

Once the lease expires there maybe an option for the Hospice to take over the accommodation away from the main building and use it for relatives of patients who are from out of town. This would be consistent with other hotels/ motels owned by various Hospices around the country

The Hospice could then lease  the main building to operate as it does now.
