I will admit to having needless nerves at the end of the first half. I didn't actually think we were playing that badly, but I was influenced by the idiot Dewhurst going on about the Reds bossing us in midfield. Which they weren't.

They were, but it was mostly due to the weather and our players struggling to adapt. Took until about the 55/60th minute for us to click and start passing it around better. Bonevacia got the ball a hell of a lot more and our play improved. He's the most important player in this team.

Very good in this game, and a good call to sub on Lia. As I say, I apologise for being mistaken about what was happening in midfield.

On the other hand, it wasn't too long ago before we got humped by WSW and narrowly took a point off the Jest. We're not consistent enough yet for my comfort.

Game honestly could've gone either way - both teams very even, and weather stopping any consistent dominance from either side.

Our fitness seemed to pay off again though.

Happy for the fans who braved the weather.
