Think he was right on that one. Did start to worry me though when Waldron started cycling through the VAR replays.

the VAR call was right - if there is continuous contact then it's where the contact ended - the where the contact started thing is where there is a foul and then the player falls into the box.

the question on if the contact in this case was enough is an entirely different debate.
