Can McGlinchey stop fudgeing floating the free kicks in? Pointless. Led to goal. Stupid stuff.

So that's what Adelaide do when they get pissed off. We do silly pay back fouls. Nothing out wide. Adelaide just sitting back on us and hitting us on the counter

well constructed goal Adelaide, dammit..

We look good when it doesn't matter. But when we need to play good. We give up goals like that.

Among all the rubbish calls this season, that's gotta make the top 10, or at least the top 25

That's something that always bugs me about our setpieces, that floaty hopeful stuff. Never works.

The ref trying to do make up calls now our season's gone?

It's just McGlinchey. Roly whips them in.

Roly's been very good this half. Love how he can spin on a dime and elude the tackle.

Ok if we come out of the blocks looking like we want to win in the second half, we might have  a chance, call me optimistic but Adelaide weren't the better team that half in my opinion

This is the most space he's had in about 10 games - really should have an assist to his name.

First 25 mins we were as good as I have seen us. Pressing high and looking good and the we went to sleep and Adelaide took advantage.

Wee mac is not the player he was at CCM and I wish Roly would stop falling over so easily.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

It's the old story: teams target the high quality creative player, double team him, foul him constantly, player responds by screaming and falling down at every opportunity when he's not been given enough protection by the officials. A blight on the game but I can't really blame him.

It doesn't help that Roly tries to turn even though he has 3 players around him. Just pass it back, then pass it to an unmarked player.

City fans will be hoping they get the Manny that played against them and not the Manny that is playing tonight.

Feel sorry for the faithful who have turned up to watch this humiliation. All too familiar defending from the Nix.

We haven't been clinical enough, Adelaide have made a few terrible errors in front of their own goal but we haven't been able to punish them for it

Permalink Permalink

Mossy seems like he's the only one fired up out there, if only he had a decent couple of pegs so we could chuck him in outfield

Exactly. Adelaide have punished us. We've fluffed around with it. Difference between good teams and bad ones.

Watson's muffed a couple of touches, but still looks to have the makings of a footballer. Clearly ahead of Chen and Paladini, and certainly by virtue of scoring has surpassed Brownlie.

Powell looking a bit tentative still
