Well, I've got my ticket! And please note that the Nix have never been beaten in Orcland.

Could possibly be late and drunk to the game since I may well be coming off winning the Auckland camogie championship that afternoon. You know how those Irish girls are.

People not only never read my comments and get infuriated by them and are prepared to miss games to avoid me? I am truly the Chosen One.

There should be free event buses in Auckland somewhere, there was for the last AW's game and also the U20 World Cup... Can't recall how I got to the last Phoenix game at QBE though.

I have a feeling there won't be any free transport from Auckland CBD for this one.  Don't forget cricket is on at Eden Park so doubt they'd bother putting on free buses for a very small crowd.

Catch the Northern Express bus service which operates from Lower Albert St in Britomart (Stop 7071) to Albany Station. From Albany Station, it is a 10-15 minute walk to QBE Stadium.

OK Patrick, make sure the Yellow Fever website goes down again on Saturday morning and everyone wear exactly what you wore vs Brisbane.

Nix 3-0 easy.

Where's good to do some pre game bar hoping next weekend? Planning a trip with 5 mates and are trying to nail down a bar itinerary.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

The past couple of times have been at The Merchant, walking distance from the stadium, don't really see why we wouldn't do it again, although someone with more knowledge than me can confirm! :)

And have someone who runs the website propose to their missus tonight to marry on Saturday.

Have to keep to tradition..

Tratt suspended for this one? 5 yellow cards?

So with Tratt suspended I'd be picking Ridenton to RB with Finkler back in the number 10 role since he should be back from Brazil.

... I'm also picking Finkler to seek an early release from his contract to move home at the end of the season.

Still fuming over that one. An outrageously poor decision by that clown of a referee.

And how North doesn't get a yellow, let alone a red, for his studs up over the ball challenge early in the game on (I think) Kosta.

Because Griffiths-Jones can't do it without VR anymore.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

The decision for the free kick was poor.

The yellow card was for the raised elbow afterwards and was imo probably fair eough

he just put his hands out appealing the decision though, didn't look intentional at all

Raised elbows. Intention doesn't matter nowadays.  I think it was also an attempt to slow Broich (who milked it like a Waikato Dairy Farmer) down

but his elbows were raised when the play was stopped and he was appealing to the ref, not just in the course of play. I can't see how it's a yellow card unless it's for a professional foul holding up play, in which case intent does matter. If it was violent conduct striking Broich then it should have been a red card, by my understanding of the rules? And for violent conduct intent matters as well

From what I recall he was looking away from Broich, raising his arm to the ref and seemed surprised when Broich ran into it. Genuine accident I thought at the time

Nothing was raised! Broich just ran with his head down into his elbow.

It's all very well for us to argue about it, but is the club able to appeal it (if there is a consensus the decision was incorrect)?

I am not up with the Rules of The Game enough  - can the yellows be appealed same as the reds?

Broich's theatrics? Clearly looking in a different direction- Broich looks at the arm and goes down like Manny had line him up and hit him. There was a card due there. Not to Tratt though. Appeal over obvious error?

At least I turned which is better than just being one. Besides perhaps I have spoken from  a kind of close encounter of the witnessing kind?
