who gives a fudge?

Been watching the game on my phone at my desk, and my boss came and spoke to me through injury time. Was trying to look at him, appear engaged in the conversation and watch the game on my phone all at the same time was gruelling, and then impossible when we scored.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked

This why I can't watch live sport anymore. At my age, the old ticker can't stand the strain.  Twitter is great - but sister called to let me know it was 3-2 to the men in yellow. Crikey - sounds like quite a game. 3 points is 3 points. Glad to hear Fenton did well.  Kinda like him.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Woot woot.....what a finish. Why the ferk don't they play like that from the start. As i said its mental.....not the players or the tactics. When they finally loosen up they played brilliantly

Well done Kenny...great sub off the bench

It is hilarious reading the comments when were 2-0 down and now when we win 3-2. I think Ernie gave the boys a good go at halftime, Well done lads

The problem was confidence, not ability. We have that confidence back now. We had the yips for last 3 and a half weeks

It's great to actually win with the last kick of the game instead of conceding and losing, which we are past masters at.

We dont often agree but this time youre bang on the money!!!

Its kinda like when you are in youre early 20's amd youre in the middle of a pussy drought. The harder you try to rectify the problem the worse the problem gets.

Unfortunately requires the Gypsies picking themselves up off the canvas after tonight and beating the Tards as well as the Clogs taking at least a point off them tomorrow.

The Tards also have last match of regular season

We were bad for a lot of that game and their goals were very soft so I think the comments at the games start were well deserved. I don't know why anyone is surprised by them.

Surely Kenny has done enough to take Krishnas starting spot otherwise you have to wonder if he is getting a fair go. Was excellent tonight.

Well, I must admit I stopped watching at 0-2, but I kept track on Twitter and watched the last 10 minutes. ;)

I was thinking that too,  perhaps Kenny to start next week and Roy off the bench

I don't blame you because it really was excruciating. In truth probably the only reason I kept on watching was so I could slag them without mercy on here! That winning goal, overtime or not, was one of the great Phoenix rushes ever, and well worth all the mental, physical and emotional stress of the previous 94 minutes.

Newcastle just scored vs Sydney.

If Sydney don't win we only need a draw or win next week to guarantee 2nd, if Sydney win vs the Jets a draw next week would mean Sydney would be 2nd.

2nd is straight through to the semi (and I assume a home one), whereas getting <= 3rd means an extra match to win to win the title.

Edit - I forgot about Adelaide.... if they win both their games they will finish above us as their goal difference is better than ours, so they need to drop a point for the above to apply. I'm assuming Melbourne will win of their next 2 matches and finish 1st.

Fark it was cold at the stadium. I after the consecutive 3-0 losses I was kind of thinking of sneaking off and going somewhere warm when the come back was on.

Surely Kenny should be in the starting lineup with Krishna getting some time on the bench.

Also glad we started looking better in the corners, amazing what a bit of desperation does for you.

Goodness knows who the mob in yellow were in the first half but in the second half we finally played like a team who wants to win the title.

Enormous respect for Kenny. He's struggled to make the match day squad but every time he gets an opportunity and  comes on off the bench he always, always plays with total commitment. Never seen a guy happier to score for his team.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

He seemed to be looking back to his best pre the Australia vs Germany game, since he came back from that he hasn't looked as good. Although to be fair I think he's being getting a lot of attention from other teams;  he seemed to be man marked by 3 defenders at times tonight, at least that should open up space for other attackers.

The worst case ever for me was Ben Williams finding an extra minute on top of 3 to allow Australia to beat the AWs 2-1 in a 'friendly' a few years back. Still gnashing my teeth about that one.

The guys in the Fox studio were all very sour grapes about the Kenny goal, but you could argue that CCM were lucky Reddy didn't get an early shower for elbowing Fenton in the face.
