Well somethings happened for NZ media to be running with this now, and if the players haven't been told then that goes against what Rudan's said all along about being open and honest with his players.

Could actually be a divided camp if players find out some are jumping ship with him.Yet again seems its the fans who get screwed over and people wonder why the casuals wont commit to the club by attending games. Really wonder why the fark i have kept my record going looking like it was all a FKN waste.

Tonight will be a good test of as to what degree Rudan leaving at the end of the season will affect the team, given it's common knowledge. 

Nix mgmt  needs to sack rudan for being a filthy aussie turncoat. Tell him to take his entourage with him. Total clean out before the next game. Play only those players who want to wear the yellow and black.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fuming. And if he goes to WU I will genuinely enjoy booing him on return, but as people have said, the players would run through brick walls for him. Would be a terrible idea sacking him going into the finals. As soon as we have played our last game though he can fudge off. 

On a more topical note, the team is out. Like the look of it, hopefully Guls can put in a Fenton-esque shift tonight. Good to see Burgess getting the start too.

Not too many comments on here tonight - one suspects everyone is feeling a bit deflated. I hope the team isn't. I hope they play for each other tonight - whether Rudan is part of that any more has to be kinda beside the point now. 

It wouldn't be anywhere near so bad if we didn't have the never-ending prospect of doom hanging over everything. It would be kinda nice if the Phoenix got a bit of a break just for once. 

I guess we'll see how things go tonight - its one step at a time now. It would be rather nice if the path we were stepping along wasn't always through a minefield though!

Looks like an effective attack, with Burgess rewarded for his "fire in the belly" over the last few games.  Will be very interesting to see how Gulley performs, and how soon can Sheridan come on to add to his minutes on the field. I expect a more chastised Dura being careful and watchful tonight than last night.
