We've stuck to our knitting. Give us our due- we've worked hard. And not held the ball further forward as much as we would like to give us a spell.

I am not sure why Roly's passing is a bit off target today. Could it be the surface quality?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Jeez that was terrible defence from Siggy

That is why Fox should be playing.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Absolute quality!

And we're using our marquee spot on Gui ;)

Watching a different game mate? They should've scored a few at least. Just lacking a whole lot of quality. This is a City side missing two of their most important players and they still look a class above us.

Still he seems a bit more buzzed than I've seen him for a while- Krishna back lifts the team IMO. Our guys are capable of creating goals of spectacular quality too.

They dominated, but the Siggie moment aside I think we've chased, harried, tackled and blocked well. They were forced to do something amazing to score, because there wasn't anything simple available.

Players come and go and crap referees, like Beath, will still be there next season with the same liw standards as this season and those seasons before. Some things never change and the standard of A League referees and lunesmen has always been poor at best. Shame as even City could probably play a lot better than when employing the fall down tactic.

I'd love to know what effect the poor quality of match officials has on driving the attendence numbers down.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I am still thinking they may have the wrong kind of cleats for this surface.

Somehow it looks very slippery for our guys but the City players move with ease.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

seen players get straight reds for that at carelessness with studs at higher levels

Maybe they only told Melbourne city that they watered it before the game

More of the same old dig at the refs....they are standard for a league of this sort

Still no card for Garruchio- blocked off players, pulled them down with both his arms...

Moss is doing everything he can and again got hung out on that penalty. Clumsy on Riera

disagree; league 1 and 2 referees in England are a massive step up from these prima donna, prissy, card waving lot.

"It was more in than out I reckon" - commentator

Isnt if any of its out, then its out?  It can be 98% in and 2% out and its out.

I did

I don't have much experience of them in that league.

I am saying we are out here in the Pacific, with one professional league. I don't have high expectations.

They make some classic stuff ups and we get some poor calls

But it isn't really making any difference in our results actually, we are poor on the field.

Moss has been good as he was last week. We have to stop lining him up for the firing squad.

Can McGlinchey never try to shoot again unless from a set piece? I got more power in my shots when I was 8

We have done the same thing for three years ad the only time it has looked any good is when we had the best player in the league.  I am dubious about Merrick

Normo's coming home

Was hoping Powell might do that. Shoulda gone to sleep earlier!
