Doyle back from suspension. Riera out. Siggy under an injury could.

Expecting 5-0. just don't know for which side.

I hope Siggy's back, then we would have our best defensive line up and can maybe grab a Krishna inspired win.

And Manny can play to his full potential, as this is the "other" Melbourne team.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I'm on crutches at the moment, not meant to put any weight on my left leg. I'm also lanky as shark, so sitting in the stadium seats isn't comfortable at the best of times, let alone fresh from knee surgery.

I was thinking I'd just miss these last 2 games, but I really don't want to. Anyone know whether there's a way to get a wheelchair and/or seats in the disabled zone at the ground? Would I contact the club or the stadium?

I think the group members in attendance should simply carry you on their collective shoulders.

Seriously enough, commiserations on your condition. Having gone through knee surgery myself I can only sympathise. Get well soon.

Ticketek is the way to go for a disabled seat. Think you need to ring up to sort it out - the information is down the bottom of the event page on the Ticketek website.

Conga line to the disabled seats on the cards?

I'm picking 7-2 to the Nix.

Melbourne gets a fluke in the first minute where it bounces off the back of two of their players heads and slips in the top right, and a late consolation goal 1 minute into injury time.

McGlinchey will make all the haters flinch with 6 fantastic goals, and just for fun Roly strikes from just in front of the 50m mark to score the goal of the league.

If you do go to the game, make sure you arrange transport on the golf-cart for after the game.
The golf-cart is very visible and easy to get a ride on getting to the ground, but often noticeably absent after the game

I recon your right, also Merick decides its too hard to hire defenders or strikers and takes his mandate of playing attacking football to heart, he therefore goes for the brute force attack of sending all our attacking midfielders forwards in the risky but effective 2-1-7 formation.

I think a lineup of

Harden the fudge up. I was there, standing in the zone two weeks after having both knees replaced ! ☺☺☺

And I was cycling in the Rapa over Easter with a 60+ yr-old mate who's had 3 knee replacements.

Pffffttt, knee replacements. They want you to weight-bear on those though, it's part of the rehab. The procedure I had done is microfracturing, where they want you keep weight off it for at least 4 weeks so new cartilage forms over the bone.

I know too much about knee surgery for someone my age. Damn football.

Anyway, speaking of football this is a hard one to pick. I'm hoping Victory take it a bit easy now they're all but assured of a finals spot, and because they have one eye on the ACL mid-week. We could sneak a win if we actually manage to create some scoring chances for once.

As long as our play doesn't do this to Bill again.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
