The weathers shining where I am but I'll still take up the offer of Bay Watch babes rescuing me if Barry doesn'!

Row boats and jet boats needed here, sorry can't come to Auckland, or Wellington. Doh.

Reminder to donate to this great cause. Can't wait for the game tonight and be good to finish the season at home beating the Premiership winners since they stole that win from us last time at home.

Neonatal collecting at the game this Saturday

Please bring some cash to the game and donate to this great cause that helped out our own Phoenix legend Siggy and his wife Deanna with their boy Cameron.

The support of Ben and Deanna for The Neonatal Trust comes from the very early arrival of son Cameron, who arrived 16 weeks early at just 24 weeks. He arrived weighing just 715 grams. You can read the article about Camerons early arrival and fight for life, which was written by Deanna in 2014, here.

Italiano's attempted header wsa frightning

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite

Jeez Italiano, you've been so good recently, almost completely managed to fudge it all up.

We should've beaten these jokers in Wellington last time out, only to be mugged in the last 30 seconds. Season on the line, lets hope we're the ones doing the mugging this time. COYN!

I fudgeing hate that cop out by the referee - slight push on a defender = free kick. Slight push on an attacker = nothing

Consistency should not be dependent on the area of the field the offence takes place.

Or the hand ball by Doyle in the penalty area.

C'mon Phoenix, 0-0 at halftime. Two very nervous Wanderers and Glory sides looking over their shoulders at this one.

Good save by FC keeper to deny Roy there, just out from half-time.

It's a bloody long off-season, as we know.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Still the ref has been fairly good. Bobo, Brosque and Carney are cynics and great to see Rossi giving it to them. He's got a good record in Serie A of getting guys sent off- I reckon it's deliberate gamesmanship. We are playing well. This has to be our best team. A bench of Mikey, Mossy, Smeltzy, Watson and Parkhouse is still fairly good. All of those players can give us an impact- though no real defensive options make things nervy!

That was a tense first half, looks a crowd between 8k from television, cheer the boys over the line lads.

Better chances by us. Next one should be in.

Roly and Gui playing like we would have expected them to do this year. Would you bring Mikey on? Probably earlier is better, before the others run themselves out.

Watson, Smeltz or Parkhouse?

I'd be almost tempted to say Parky would be my number 2 sub, again for a wide player...see how Finkler and others hold up....Mikey can always move to a central role though he's best attacking from out wide...

Minor dilemma. Im on a promise which may expire before the match finishes.

I hate these decisions...
