Seriously we are gonna get our assess kicked this game, we are poor all over the field and only a miracle will have us lose by less then 2 goals.

Cheers Royz, your optimism really screwed us last time.

It may well be that the problem is not that we played terribly against WSW (well, that too) but that WSW knew exactly how to play against us. They treated us like Sydney FC Lite. They clearly knew what to do about us, exactly like Melbourne City knew how to play the Smurfs.    However, Brisbane are not WSW or Melbourne City.  I think we are in with a solid chance, especially if Piscopo starts ahead of Davila.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Really wow how quickly some people forget. You are kidding if you  think Davila isnt in our best 11

Some interesting calls for Talay to make.

Piscopo to start instead of McCowatt?

TAHW in for suspended Devere?

Payne in at right back now that he has sat out his suspension.?

Does Rufer get a start. He's been playing better than Devlin since the re start for me?

I'd prefer not to see so many changes this close to finals but .....

Piscopo has to start over Davilla. Davilla has come back from Mexico half the player he was pre-COVID. I know how hard mentally it can be being seperated from your wife and new-born child. It must be really tough for him.

Payne in for Fenton. Fenton looked totally at sea.

Rufer to start alongside Steinmann.

Keegan Smith in for Marinovich.... :) Just to keep the defenders on their toes.

Gonna be hard for him to do a two-week quarantine in 36 hours.

Piscopo to start for sure, McCowatt just looked a bit off the pace last game, nothing against his previous performances but I Reno starting gives hoops and ball more chances.

TAHW - obviously. Hopefully he's fully recovered form the concussion

Payne for mine is a shoe-in, as long as he's been training ok then Fenton back to the bench.

I'd leave Devlin and Steinmann in the middle, Rufer isn't as aggressive or disruptive.

Rufer has looked like a guy wanting to get a red card in his last 2 games. He tries hard enough to get one.

Sail not in squad either. Looks like those two are on the outer. Talay must have been really pissed with there golf cart antics. fair enough too.

Think that Payne out is something else that has cost us momentum. He seemed to have started to develop understanding with Hooper and was doing an okay job of defending.

Sucks that DeVere's suspended, we seem to be missing an aerial presence at the back without him on the field.

Huge season defining game. If we lose this and Perth win their next game we go to fifth on goal difference.

I think he is seeing devlin's performances and success and is trying to add it to his game, unfortunately he is not Devlin

Mystic Megs' tea leaf analysis:

Jamie Young comes off injured after ten minutes to be replaced by Kiwi goalie Max Crocombe who is distracted catching up on-field with Kiwi friends at the Nix and concedes five goals...

Fellow Kiwi Jai Ingham comes on as a second half sub, scores an own goal and then gets sent off.....

After only one win in four, we're due a win...COYN !!!

Alex King listed as the Ref for tonight, hopefully he doesn't head home to Queensland before kick off like Faghani did.

After the last 2 games i don't trust the Refs at all, with FFA wanting Roar in the finals with the best path possible a few dollars in Kings pocket will do the trick.

the refs only come into the game if we don't score enough goals. Hope we make a statement today.

At least we wont have Ams doing tonight's game. He was almost as bad in last nights game as he was in ours.

Not sad to see the back of Fenton.

Two players have overtaken him. 1 well and truly and another with a lot of potential.

Grumpy old bastard alert

I am not happy to see the back of him, but agree that Payne clearly made that position his own, earlier this season. Elliot still has a lot to learn but is showing good potential.

Kudos to Louie for overcoming his injuries; and he is still a useful player for us.

Louie had a bad game, but he was decent in the other two. Maybe it was asking too much of him to come back in straight away and start and play full 90's??

I would like to see Elliott be more attacking tonight.

Like the look of this team and look forward to Elliot continuing his improvement. Hope like hell they have worked on defending crosses. Davila and Piscopo to bring their A games

always kind of wonder how Louis would go without defensive duties. Was most successful as a WB. Still keeping the 442, no free the role for Davila?

not used early chances here. This Brisbane team is fired up. A real battle here.

Roar on top now. Hope that dumb card Steinmann picked up doesn't come back to haunt us.

That strong arm of Marinovic saves us again. Roar look much more likely to score than us, yet we've had two good chances.
