I don't really follow this line of thinking tbh

I'd expect around 7-7.5k for the crowd considering the disappointing first week attendance

if we can play like we did last week vs Sydney, no reason we can’t come away with 3 points. Perth will eventually snap out of their funk, fingers crossed that it’s not today! 2-1 to Phoenix

Not conceding soft goals will help no end.

Heading to the BB in a while. One of my boys flew from Sydney for this, another one drove from New Plymouth. Coyn

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

The next time he does would be happy to tag along :) can provide gas and good football chat for the long drive.

One of those very gusty, grey Wellington days. The sort of conditions that people from Perth hate (hopefully).

Whoever replaces Libby is going to have an interesting afternoon coping with Ikonomidis and Castro running at them. Doubtless they will look to exploit that wing as much as possible. Do we know yet who is going to have that spot?

Predicted lineup.

Potentially replace Sotirio with Hooper but seems like Hooper is gonna be on the bench

Reckon we will - we've got 4 weeks before the next home game. We usually leave the stadium buzzing before these long breaks.

One small thing in his favour he's been around that Perth squad, trained with them and will at least be familiar with Castro, etc. He's not going to replace Libby but it's a huge opportunity to show that he's good enough for this level. Fingers crossed he does well.

This line of thinking has been around for ages . It is the over  coverage in local papers etc of rugby that has annoyed other sports fans for a very long time.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Pretty much what was expected. Let's give Scott a chance, odd's are he'll be there next week too, barring an absolute nightmare tonight.

Expecting a lot of play from Perth to be directed down that left hand flank though...

hoping hooper gets quite a few mins. Looking forward to seeing what he’s got, oh and I bet on him to score a goal. Coyn!

Not there as am up in Hawkes Bay, hopefully I will regret that!

Feels like a strong, keen bench too. Devlin was apparently quite strong in pre-season, as was McGing. Payne ahead of TAHW in the pecking order?

Really thought TAHW would get a look in at right back - at least as cover there; maybe injured again? Doesn't make sense to not even have him on bench

I don't think Devlin is good enough from what I've seen for Sydney and v Brisbane

yeah TAHW must be injured (not surprising at all tbh), think he's an awesome player and I know the Nix socials rate him

I don't know why exactly, but the extension of the bench has made me feel as though this league is a lot more credible

Spicy corner there from Davila, shades of McGree yesterday?

Handball there. No intention though

Really nice ball to release Sotirio by Davila.

...but the corner not so great.

We are terrible at defending in the 6 yard box, absolutely no urgency

Again lots of possesion but no real chances; we've really fudgeed this now
